For what it's worth, his PFF grade in 2019 is 60.8, so not too much of a drop-off from Alexander's 61.3. On the positive side, Greenlaw was timed at 21.23 mph in a game this year - that would make him our fastest linebacker. Could be a valuable asset when chasing Russell Wilson (and Lamar Jackson later this season).

I don't know if they can cut Alexander without a cap hit, since they only signed him this season.

Alexander played well in pass coverage early in the season but not sure they've dropped off too much since his injury.

They need to look at drafting someone regardless of whether they keep Alexander or not.

Greenlaw did have the most tackles this game, so yeah it could be tempting if they can save cap space by cutting Alexander, since they have some other players they need to pay. For instance, if there's any way they can keep Armstead.

They won't cut Alexander this next year. I wasn't a big fan of the signing, either, but he brought something to the D with his range and his energy. Greenlaw and Al-Shaair have both had some solid moments, to go along with Warner's breakout year. I can't see the team doing much to address the LB position this offseason, with a first round pick and then nothing until the fifth. We just have too many other needs. We desperately need to add a CB or two. Armstead could be gone, though we at least have DL depth. OT doesn't look to be quite the mess it did at the start of the season with Brunskill looking promising, but can he replace Staley? Our interior OL could stand an upgrade. WR is still a problem despite all the resources we've spent at the position (Garcon, Goodwin, Pettis, Samuel, and Hurd). I would rank LB behind all of those if Alexander is healthy.

We only have so many draft picks this year and there are bigger depth needs for the later rounds. We will probably sign a vet to back up Warner/Alexander/Greenlaw

DYLAN MOSES
LB, ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE

Alabama junior LB Dylan Moses announced that he will not be entering the 2020 NFL Draft.

Moses (6'3/235) was projected as a consensus top-50 pick with high first-round potential before tearing his ACL in late-August. He is an explosive athlete who was named to the pre-season Butkus award list and All-American team, so Moses' return is a huge win for the Crimson Tide. Last year he posted 86 tackles, 10 TFL, 3.5 sacks and one fumble recovery while being named second team All-SEC. He will likely continue to be a first-round worthy prospect for the 2021 NFL Draft and a force for Alabama's stout defense.
