49ERS EXTEND ROBBIE GOULD

After having a horrible against Arizona, Niners extend K Robbie Gould 2 years with a fully guaranteed deal. One bad game aside, I completely support this. Great kicker and a Niner two more seasons.

Glad we're saving money on Gould. He was scheduled to make way too much for a kicker. Statistics suggest a kicker is not that important, but that's one of those stats that I just struggle to believe after seeing what a bad kicker can do to a team. And honestly, knowing our FO, if we lost Gould, they'd probably draft a mediocre college kicker in the second to replace him.

Seems like great kickers come from having a QB that can calm their anxiety. I know Tucker has been great even before Lamar, but Vinitari, Hekker, Crosby, and Vanderjagt
