Deon Cain - WR - Tigers

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney revealed junior WR Deon Cain will enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

The other potential Clemson prospects have not made up their mind but will do so after speaking with Dabo. Cain has displayed big-play skills during his time with the Tigers, average over 15 yards per catch to go along with 20 touchdowns in three seasons. The next time we see him will be the NFL Combine.

Quenton Meeks - DB - Cardinal

Stanford junior CB Quenton Meeks will forego his final year of eligibility to enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

Meeks (6'2/195) posted 61 tackles, a pair of interceptions and seven passes for the 2017 campaign. He's had a strong nose for the ball during his time at Stanford, picking off a total of seven passes -- at least two in each of his three years with the Cardinal. The junior corner could be in line for a late Day 2 selection, though Walter Football's Charlie Campbell notes that some evaluators he's spoken with believe that Meeks would have been better served returning to school for the 2018 season. Campbell hits him up with a grade for Rds. 5-7.

Tuesday Draft Notes -- 16.0

http://draftanalyst.com/tuesday-draft-notes-160

Many believed it was a foregone conclusion the three eligible underclassmen on Clemson’s dominant defensive line would all enter the draft, as all three project as first-round selections. But we’ve yet to hear a peep from Christian Wilkins, Clelin Ferrell and Austin Bryant.

There’s a belief from some at Clemson that the longer this carries on, the less likely the trio will enter the draft. Scouts have been telling people they believe Ferrell will return for another season with the Tigers.

So what’s next?

I’ve learned the three are a tight-knit bunch along with true sophomore Dexter Lawrence, who could be the best NFL prospect on the Tigers defensive line. My Clemson source feels there’s a distinct possibility that Wilkins, Ferrell and Bryant are all discussing their choices collectively and could potentially make a group decision. All three are described as intelligent men of high character who are well-regarded by the Clemson community.

We gotta draft Cameron Payne. Bo Scarbourgh would be a great pick we could probably get him in the fourth round.

I really to Draft Eric Reids brother he looks great.

It's nice that the athletic departments of these big-time football programs put together these snazzy graphics and inspirational words to announce players who are staying in school.

Least they could do for the low-priced labor that brings millions in revenues to these schools.

Kyle Allen - QB - Cougars

Houston redshirt junior QB Kyle Allen plans to forgo one final season of eligibility and enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

Allen transferred to Houston following the 2015 season at Texas A&M. This was his first year on the field for the Cougars and ended up playing in three games. He was benched after turning the ball over six times in three games. There's not a lot for NFL teams to go on here, so Allen likely will need to prove himself as an undrafted free agent.

Jacob Eason - QB - Bulldogs

Georgia sophomore QB Jacob Eason will transfer.

Eason (6'5/235) did not specifically mention a preferred destination in his transfer tweet, but the Seattle Times' Adam Jude reported earlier this week that the Washington native would be returning to his home state to play for the Huskies. The sophomore gunslinger will have to sit out the 2018 season to satisfy NCAA transfer regulations and would have two years eligibility remaining come the start of the 2019 season. That timing works perfectly for Washington, as QB Jake Browning -- coming back for the fall -- will no longer be in the fold at that point. A former five-star recruit, Eason passed for 2,430 yards with a 16/8 TD/INT ratio as a true freshman in 2016. He began the 2017 campaign as starter, but a knee injury sustained in the season-opener forced true freshman Jake Fromm into action. Fromm proceeded to help lead the Bulldogs to the national championship game.

Iman Marshall - DB - Trojans

USC junior CB Iman Marshall will return for the 2018 season.

Marshall (6'1/194) joins linebackers Porter Gustin and Cameron Smith in foregoing the 2018 NFL Draft. The Trojans will be working in a number of new faces on offense -- they've lost Sam Darnold, Ronald Jones and Deontay Burnett to the NFL -- but the defense is in a bit more of a stable place. Marshall registered 51 tackles and 10 passes defended during the 2017 campaign. While he failed to log an interception, the junior has six picks in total for his time with the Trojans.

This one is huge I thought this would be one of our picks. this guy is great. I like his size. has a toughness to him. kind of a Richard Sherman. I liked him as a top corner since he came out of Long Beach Poly in High School and made a rap video to announce he was going to USC very surprising I was sure he was coming out as a Junior. USC is going to have a great defense. I like this guys game. I'm surprised he didn't get a four round grade.
