What’s the point of rushing just 4 with soft coverage? That makes everything easy for the offense

Love that they ran their first play. This drive with 32 seconds remaining in the half, and I'm just praying we hold them to three points. Pathetic. Everyone chipping into this debacle.

Withoit Bosa, rushing four isnt getting pressure

We were blitzing more than usual with Bosa instead of just rushing 4. I don’t understand the gameplan

Why does that false start not lead to a 10 second runoff or them to use their TO?

Trailing by 11 to the jags in our building, and they get the ball. Good grief.

To be fair, on offense, we are missing all our speed receivers. Pearsall has good speed, but that isn't really his game. Everyone else is downright slow. Kittle can still move well for a tight end, but McCaffrey is no longer particularly fast.

All true points, but our secondary also seems slow, or at least 2-3 steps behind, compared to the Jaguars' offense.

Defense has been keeping us in ugly games. Not today. We need at least one turnover to get back in it

Jax mistakes are the only reason why this is a 17-6 and not a 28-6 game

Defense has not made a single play all day.
Offense is moving the ball, but turning the ball over and can't convert anything in the redzone
Special teams remain, well, special

Either the play design is bad, or our receivers can't get open, or both

I think its mostly the latter, Kyle knows he doesn't have anybody out there that will be able to get much separation.

That's especially apparent in the red zone, where the defense only has to cover a short field so the pre-snap motion and misdirection isn't nearly as effective. SF also doesn't really have any big body dudes or uber athletic guys that can be relied on to go highpoint a fade route.

All that said, its on Kyle to scheme up and design plays to account for those detriments. On that last possession inside the 5, I would have liked to see Purdy on a rollout/boot with an option to run it in himself. However, I don't really know how much the toe is hampering Brock, so that might not be a smart play call either.

Not sure why he didn't run that one out since it was so shallow, and SF sucks at kickoff coverage, but I'm not mad

It was not prior to the delay of game. The delay of game was well in advance. But I will take it either way. This is not a good team, and we are losing badly to them. Need to turn it around here.
