Joe Williams will also already be 24 years old when the season starts.

I'm good lol

You know where I'll be if Joe proves things wrong.

Not gonna lie, I probably won't even remember this conversation when or if that time comes

Obviously. I'm just saying with all my passion comes accountability when I say stuff. If ANYBODY EVER wants to call me out for what I know or don't know, I can take it and will gladly have a conversation about it.

I'm not specifically calling you out, I'm calling out the idea that people are acting as if they know more than our scouting department. Already people are calling Lynch names (amateur, clueless, etc.) when his draft class hasn't even touched the field yet. That bothers the hell out of me. I haven't seen you say those things, it's just made this draft very irritating that people aren't even willing to give this a chance work out.

Toledo TE Michael Roberts to the Lions. One of my TE targets. Bucky Hodges still there. Roberts has a heck of a story.

At 6'4, 270 lbs. he's a better receiver than he is a blocker. Doesn't look like his size. Moves well at that size. His father spent time in jail. He was suspended from elementary school multiple times. Diagnosed with a speech impediment and attention deficit disorder. Once they figured that out, he improved in high school, but still low grades prevented him from receiving a scholarship. He also lost his grandmother to cancer and a younger brother to an accidental shooting. 16 TDs as a senior with over 80% of his catches going for first down. Some of the largest hands in the draft. Experience running different blocking formations and is solid but not outstanding. Only one year production.

Florida OT David Sharpe to Oakland. Huge kid (6'6 1/4 and 343 lbs at Combine). 35+ inch arms and 87 inch wingspan (2nd among OL at Combine). Good performance vs. Missouri DL Charles Harris. Gets overextended too much. Projects to RT or a guard. Late off the ball. Legally blind in his right eye. Final 26 of 27 games came at LT.

Also, Josh Malone translates very well into Cincinnati's (or Cleveland's) offense very well IMO. He's a long way off but he's got some upside that I like now that he's in a system I understand.

Dang. Julie'n Davenport to the Texans.

Longest player at the combine. One of the top developmental players in the draft. Coached by Joe Susan at Bucknell, who is highly regarded in NFL circles for working with small school kids. Strength and technique can improve. Very good footwork. Projects to LT. Struggled vs. Villanova DL Tanoh Kpassagnon.

Fun fact: Bucknell had a bounce house in their endzone this year. Top that.

Deatrich Wise Jr. is SUCH a Belichick move. Intriguing 3-4 DE project. Very good length and size. Needs more consistency. Had a very good week at the East-West Shrine Game, including the game itself. This would've been a bit high to take him for most organizations but it's freaking Belichick and company and it's defense so it makes far more sense.

Oh wow :o I didn't know that Joe Williams was that old!? I took time to study the RB very closely this year. One thing I forgot to take into the equation is age. I gave Bolles a hard time because of it, and I should have done the same with Joe. Anyway, he's probably going to be our main backup behind Hyde. The kid is a very talented runner. Earlier this week I posted my player positional rankings and this was what I revealed to you guys:

RUNNING BACK
1.) Leonard Fournette
2.) Dalvin Cook
3.) Joe Mixon
4.) Christian McCaffrey
5.) Joe Williams
6.) Donta Foreman
7.) Jamal Williams
8.) Alvin Kamara
9.) Jeremy McNichols
10.) Donnel Pumphrey

Mayock's boy goes to his team. Pumphrey. FBS career rushing yards record holder. Had 1,159 touches. 2-time Mountain West Player of the Year.

Was not the biggest fan of his but it's a good system fit for him. I'm not expecting much in year 1.

There you go, Bingo. Ryan Switzer to the Cowboys. He still has to be in your nightmares, no?

Jamaal Williams to Green Bay. Their all-time leading rusher. Really tough, downhill runner. That's exactly the type of RB they needed to add IMO. They just better hope they can get him near his ceiling.

I liked Switzer. Him in that Cole Beasley role is a bit frightening

Return to San Francisco 49ers
