49ers regular season game notes

There's a premium article on PFF that has all the overall grades for every 1st round pick this year. Boy, most of them are VERY low.

Bosa's is 86.3. Dexter Lawrence is at 81.3. Jeffery Simmons is at 80.2 (limited sample size). Josh Jacobs is at 90.8. The only ones that are at 80.0 or higher.

A ton of guys in the 50s and 60s.

Clelin Ferrell, Devin White, Dwayne Haskins, Noah Fant, Johnathan Abram (not even 1 full game before IR), Jerry Tillery, L.J. Collier, and Deandre Baker all have grades at 50 or below (some way below). N'Keal Harry hasn't played.

“He doesn’t sit back in his chair, like, ‘Oh, I know this.’ He’s taking the most detailed notes out of anyone. When I saw that, it really resonated with me. This is why he’s been able to be so successful in this league for so long. He treats every day like a new day.”

A very small piece of the puzzle (have heard stories of furious note takers who didn't do crap with them and couldn't use them effectively to save their soul) but..................

The feeling I got from this was cancelled out by years of dealing with and conversing with some of the 49ers fan base in a variety of ways. Good moment for Saleh, though.
