Marshon Lattimore - DB - Buckeyes

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline called Ohio State CB Marshon Lattimore "overrated" and a "risky pick."

"He’s a superior athlete to [Buckeyes CB Gareon] Conley but comes with a thin body of work, a long injury history and, in my opinion, lacks the refined ball skills of his teammate," Pauline writes. Speaking to that injury point, the 6-foot, 193-pound Lattimore was not able to finish testing work at the Combine due to a hip flexor. Prior to going out injured, he had recorded -- to Pauline's athleticism point -- a stellar 40-yard dash of 4.36 seconds and a 38.5-inch vertical leap. Ohio State will hold its pro day on March 23, should Lattimore desire to give the NFL a more complete workout.

Teez Tabor - DB - Gators

Pro Football Focus analyst Steve Palazzolo writes that Florida CB Teez Tabor's abysmal Combine showing "may force him closer to the middle of the [cornerback] pack."

The Combine was filled with its usual assortment of surprises and disappointments, with Tabor landing decidedly on the latter half of the spectrum. He managed a top 40-yard dash of just 4.63 seconds. And the 6-foot, 199-pounder didn't only disappoint in the signature event. He also logged uninspiring jumps of 31 inches (vertical) and 120 inches (broad), plus only nine reps on the bench press. Tabor called himself the best corner in the draft (and the best player) prior to testing, a boast which he did not back up in the slightest.

Mike Williams - WR - Tigers

CBS Sports draft analyst Rob Rang believes that Clemson WR Mike Williams could slide out of the top 20 picks.

Rang refers to Williams' "lack of juice" during positional drills as "alarming." The 6-foot-4, 218-pounder chose not run the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine this weekend, always a decision bound to raise a few eyebrows for players coming to Indianapolis with questions surrounding their top-end speeds. We saw a similar situation with Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell last spring. Treadwell did not run the 40 at the Combine in 2016 and was ultimately drafted by the Vikings with pick No. 23.

Oklahoma pro day information:

Joe Mixon - 6'0 3/4, 228 lbs, 10 1/4 inch hands. Only Matt Dayes had a larger hand size of all the combine backs. 1/4 inch shorter than listed height and 2 pounds heavier than listed weight.

Dede Westbrook - 5'11 7/8, 174 lbs, 8 7/8 inch hands, 30 inch arm. 1/8 inch shorter than listed playing height and 2 pounds lighter than listed playing weight. The hand size would have tied him for 6th smallest at the combine among WRs. The arm length would have tied him for 4th shortest length among WRs at the combine.

Mixon early broad jump of 9 feet, 10 inches. That would have put him at the T-17th position at the combine among RBs.

35 inch vertical jump. That would've tied him for 10th best among RBs at the combine.

Note: None of these numbers have been made official by the school yet so they could change a bit. How are jump numbers not official from the get go? They often don't change from the initial reading until they are made official by the school BUT occasionally you'll get an adjustment once the school sends out the release so that's why I'm always careful about posting anything right away until the school sends out the release.

More Westbrook: 10 inch broad jump (T-28 if at the combine). 34 1/2 inch vertical jump (T-24th if at the combine)

And Oklahoma will announce (likely) that Mixon timed out at 4.43.

I'm hesitant to even post that because like I said during the combine I have ZERO interest in listening to anybody's 40 measurement without video included. We'll see what it LOOKS like.

Mixon

4.25 shuttle (Would've been 5th best at combine)
7.00 3-cone (Would've been 6th best at combine)

On tape he doesn't look like he's that fast. I've seen him break for a long run and get caught from an angle. Backs like Dalvin Cook plays much faster on the field than their 40 time indicates. Don't get me wrong, he's fast enough to be considered an elite runner, but he's not going to smoke NFL defenders on a weekly basis:

Joe Mixon - RB - Player

Oklahoma RB Joe Mixon ran a 4.43 forty-yard dash at the Sooners' Pro Day.

He added a 35-inch vertical and 9-foot-10 broad jump at 6-foot-1, 228 pounds. For comparison, Ezekiel Elliott ran 4.47 with a 9-foot-10 broad jump and 32 1/2-inch vertical at 6-foot, 225 pounds at last year's Combine. Pro Days do provide players with more favorable settings than those offered in Indy, but it's clear Mixon's athleticism and size combination is at the high end.

Yeah. I just saw that via Oklahoma themselves (right after I posted that). Zero issues with the time or really his run. Not over-inflated. Very natural. Organic.

Titus Young 2.0

Dede Westbrook - WR - Sooners

Oklahoma WR Dede Westbrook met with the Dolphins the night before the school's pro day, according to Tony Pauline.

Via the media, NFL teams let it be known they were not happy with Westbrook's NFL Combine. He did not participate in the Senior Bowl or Combine workouts, so Westbrook's pro day workout on Wednesday is important.

I would break my TV if we drafted him anywhere before the 5th round:

Chris Godwin - WR - Nittany Lions

Penn State WR Chris Godwin's Combine workout places him in the 89th percentile of athleticism at the position, according to Zach Whitman.

At 6-foot-1 and 209 lbs, Godwin produced a top five workout among receivers. We knew Godwin shined as a contested catch receiver, converting those opportunities at a higher rate than any pass catcher over the last two years, according to Matt Harmon. Now add on Godwin's athleticism and his age (21 years old during rookie year) and you have yourself a second round pick at the latest.

I think someone is going to end up pulling a rabbit trick up their a$$ and draft him in the second.

Joe Mixon - RB - Sooners

Oklahoma RB Joe Mixon recorded a 4.43 forty at the school's pro day on Wednesday.

Mixon added a 9-foot-10 broad jump, 35-inch vertical, 4.25 short shuttle and 7.00 3-cone at 6-foot-1 and 228 pounds. These are pro day results, but Mixon will likely end up with a better composite score that any Combine running back. All 32 teams are on hand, and Mixon could end up meeting with 20 of them. Some reports still state that Mixon won't be drafted, even more say that he will. A third-round selection would not be a surprise.

Dane Brugler:

Only one 40-yard dash for Mixon. Scouts were told his agent advised Mixon to stand on his first run, which was in the mid-4.4s

I've heard the track is slow in Norman. If so that is a very impressive time.

Jarrad Davis - LB - Gators

An AFC executive encouraged NFL.com's Lance Zierlein to pan Florida LB Jarrad Davis so he might fall to them.

"He's good," the exec said. "I don't care about some of those holes you are talking about. Kill him so maybe somebody will listen to you and he can fall to us. We'll take him." Zierlein interestingly likens Davis to Shaq Thompson. "His ability to cover ground, operate with loose hips in space, and finish his tackles make him a draft favorite for some teams," Zierlein wrote. "While it is easy to fall in love with the traits and potential, will have to take better routes to the ball and learn to keep himself clean against blocks." The analyst thinks Davis will start early as a 4-3 outside backer.
