Lamar Jackson - QB - Cardinals

Baltimore GM Ozzie Newsome told the media Louisville's Lamar Jackson is a QB on the Ravens board.

Jackson was asked to work out at receiver, along with quarterback, by some teams at the NFL Combine. One of those teams clearly is not the Ravens, who might be in the running to add a quarterback this offseason. We are firmly in the camp of letting Jackson develop at quarterback rather than ask him to put more on his plate and spend time at receiver.

Bradley Chubb - DL - Wolfpack

NC State edge rusher Bradley Chubb measured 6-foot-4 3/8 inches and 269 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Chubb also has 34-inch arms, 9 7/8-inch hands and a wingspan of 79-inches. Chubb is easily the favorite to be the first pass rusher off the board, and these are figures that fit any system on the edge. We wouldn't expect a huge workout from Chubb, but he certainly won't hurt his evaluation this weekend.

I like it.

thats no way happening....

we just gave Jimmy G a big boys contract entering his prime. This guy won't be leaving us for a long time....

i was just thinking to myself, Chubb's flair or hype isn't as open as past pass rushers.

Orlando Brown - T - Player

Oklahoma OT Orlando Brown measured 6-foot-7 7/8 and 345 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine.

It's been a Combine to forget for Brown, the son of the late Orlando Brown Sr., who played in the NFL for the Browns and Ravens. Brown came to Indy as a potential first- or second-round pick next month, but he's done nothing but hurt his stock. He ran a molasses-slow 5.85 forty, bench-pressed 225 pounds just 14 times, and posted a dreadful 19.5-inch vertical. His 2.00-second 10-yard split was the worst in Combine history. Coaches also got after him for loafing during on-field drills. Brown's stock is in an absolute free-fall.

Really, that's all they'd get?

What about swapping the two Buffalo first rounders for the #9?

Or a mid first rounder and a first next year for #9?

He’s saying the 9th is one fourth rounder more valuable than the 10th. (Obviously more is traded for each of those picks)

It’s because he’s more of a complete package player than a high upside sack master. 10 sack guy that sets the edge and holds up well in the run game.

Roquan Smith crushed it on the measurables. Taller and heavier than expected. Yes please.

Kolton Miller - T - Bruins

SB Nation's Jeanna Thomas considers UCLA T Kolton Miller a "winner" of Friday's NFL Scouting Combine.

Miller (6'9/310), set the broad jump record for an offensive lineman with a 10-foot-1 inch jump and posted a respectable 4.98 40-yard dash. The previous offensive lineman broad jump record-holders were all drafted in the first round, a good sign for Miller. Scouts have mixed reviews on him so far and an AFC area scout sums up everything well by saying, "His tape tells you exactly who he is. He's big and he's got decent length but he's an average athlete and he will always be up and down depending on the guy across from him. I think he'll start but I don't see anything special." Despite some concerns with his tape, Miller seems likely to be drafted in the first round due to his exciting athletic profile.

Josh Rosen - QB - Bruins

SI's Bruce Feldman spoke to one NFL QB coach who said UCLA QB I Josh Rosen was the "sharpest" of all prospects he met with at the position.

"He was very impressive. He knows football inside and out," the position coach told Feldman. Every team will have a different feel for this quarterback room as personalities and styles mesh and others conflict. More information like this will continue to come out following the Combine.

Derrius Guice - RB - Tigers

Dolphins beat writer Armando Salguero says Miami likes LSU RB Derrius Guice "a lot."

Guice produced a 4.49 forty during Friday's Combine activities as well as a 31.5-inch vertical but elected to skip the other events. Guice's 2017 was a lost season due to a thigh bruise, but he finished strong and has plenty of top tape while backing up Leonard Fournette.

Lamar Jackson - QB - Cardinals

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora cites sources saying the Ravens would not hesitate to select a QB in the first round.

"The Ravens are doing considerable work on this group of rookie quarterbacks," La Canfora writes, stating a pass catcher is most likely but to not rule out the players who actually throw the football. "You would have to think Ozzie Newsome would like nothing more than for his final draft before retirement to provide the franchise he loves so much with its quarterback for the next decade or more," he writes. Joe Flacco's playoff and Super Bowl run was legendary in terms of earning a massive contract, but he has not lived up to it since. Ozzie Newsome already stated Lamar Jackson is on the team's board as a quarterback.

Lamar Jackson - QB - Cardinals

Louisville QB Lamar Jackson said he will only throw at the NFL Combine and won't go through athletic testing drills.

You have to wonder if this is to send a message to NFL teams, that rather than focusing on his 40 times and athletic tests, Jackson wants teams to focus on his throwing. Good for him. Jackson has made it known he will be playing quarterback at the next level. Period.
