Williams contract breakdown, per Dianna Russini:

6 years, $138M, $55.1 guaranteed (30.1M of 55.1M is signing bonus).

23M AAV is tied with David Bakhtiari for highest paid OT.

Nice, I like it.

Only 40% guaranteed is pretty good flexibility. I wouldn't be surprised if that contract's lifespan only lasts 3 years, especially with Trent about to turn 33. Which is a pretty good window for the timeline of this team, allows them to compete now and have some time to find the heir apparent. Or if Trent is still ballin 3 years from now at 36, they can tear up this contract and give him an extension, thus lowering his annual cap hit.

I haven't seen the deets of Mack's contract, but I would think its down towards the league minimum.

O-Line while aging, looks pretty decent overall. Trent/Mack/Laken is a very solid trio of starters. We can only hope that McGlinchey finally gets it, and plays up to his draft pedigree. Honestly, unless he thrives this year I wouldn't be at all surprised if his 5th year option gets declined.

With all the signings, I'm not sure how but I just read that Frisco has $17-18 mil of cap space remaining. Which is enough for some combination of: further fortify the CB group, grab an upgrade at WR, bring back Jordan Reed, get some depth along the D-Line and LB corps.

However, that available 17-18 mil just doesn't seem right. I also don't know if they accounted for the required amount to sign the draft class. If not, that would require a big chunk of that 17-18 mil.

I'm hearing 9ers are expressing interest in JuJu. I don't think they can afford him, but yes please!!!

Also hearing they are making a push to bring back KWaun Williams. Depending on the price, that could be a really nice/under-rated signing.

Yeah it's an old OL.

They have a window of 2-3 years before they have to rebuild that line, unless they start drafting OL now.

They need to be constantly building the OL. OL, especially interior, is a position where you can find talent in the 3rd, 4th, 5th rounds. They need to be adding guys every year.

Very glad they re-signed Williams. We would have been in big trouble without him. With him, if we can stay more or less healthy, we should be right back in the mix this upcoming season. It also gives us a lot more flexibility in the draft.

Big relief to get Trent back. And signing Mack for this year is also a big help. This should let Brunskill compete for the RG spot. If only we could find someone who can teach McGlinchey how to be a better pass protector.

Shon Coleman hasn't played in two years, but he should be in the mix for starting at RT. Brunskill should, too.

BTW, I think it was mentioned above about McGlinchey's performance this year and his fifth-year option. They'll have to make that decision before this season.

Maybe having more consistency on the line will help McGlinchey. Last year C and RG were a revolving door

Probably 20M+ in cap space still with Ford restructure. I guess that one has not been made official just yet.

Re: Mack, it will be interesting to see what he gets relative to Rodney Hudson. Mack solidifies the OL with his leadership and experience, but his play is on the decline. Hudson is still more or less in his prime. Granted I would expect Hudson to cost a fair bit more.

Apparently, Rodney Hudson was NOT released. The Raiders are trying to trade him as he has reportedly recently requested a trade or release.

Remember, those QB deals become official in 1 hour. Goff + picks for Stafford and picks for Wentz.

Lots of mid-tier guys out there, and I'd like to see us bring some guys back for one- or two-year deals on the cheap. That can wait, but we need to flesh out this roster a bit. DJ Jones comes to mind, a slot corner (Williams or someone else), maybe a depth piece at OG (better than Tom Compton), a receiver or two.
