We don’t need a RB making $19

If cut, he would actually cost a lot more cap wise.

He would carry a $22 mil dead cap hit if cut. Right now he's only carrying a $9 mil hit next season

I just don't understand the cries to cut CMC. From Niner Noise: "That contract carries $8.5 million in guaranteed money in 2025, and an offseason release would not only cost the Niners more than $26 million in dead money next year, but it would put them in the salary-cap hole by an additional $16.56 million, too. Even with a post-June 1 release, San Francisco would still owe $13.5 million in dead money and would be in the red on the deal by $3.7 million."

We can't afford to cut someone just to create a big cap mess for the rest of the team. Just doesn't make any sense to me.

Lack of hunger maybe. Complacency maybe. Wear and tear piling up maybe. Defenses changing how they defend him maybe.

Yes, I agree its dumb.

CMC was a legit MVP candidate last season. He wasn't right since the start of training camp, and showed flashes he was rounding into form last week before getting hurt.

Its also pretty obvious how much of a difference he makes being out there. He has a huge gravitational force for opposing defense that opens things up for everybody else.

I think its way too early to declare him dead.

Buffalo trying to come back and sneak out of LA with a W.

That would be quite nice

Purdy’s looking good, sure, but who wouldn’t look good playing with guys like Patrick Wilson Jr. and Eric Sauber.

McVay with sum stones there.

Hopefully Buff holds them to 3, and Allen engineers a walkoff TD drive

One of the many reasons, why that guy's takes deserve no respect.

He only shows up when its convenient for his views.

Because the 49ers could put the janitor in there and play . Kyle's system makes everyone great

Return to San Francisco 49ers
