Obviously Riddick qualifies for this so this makes me think the interview with Raye III is legitimate. The Colts don't get good press on their GM'ing so I'm not sure what role Raye III played in that. Grigson could be out any day.
On Raye. Of course look at the entire picture but keep in mind he was with the Chargers for 17 years prior to being with the Colts for the past 4. Also keep in mind that unlike many people in the game today, he oversaw both their pro personnel and college scouting departments. I'm not saying that doesn't necessarily come with its detriments, but it's something that many people highlight on his resume. He also has a little bit of position coach and salary cap managing experience, too.
I'm not even saying I'd be happy with him because his tree and overall make up isn't what I generally tend to favor but he has been a popular name for a lot of people because he has an interesting history compared to a lot of guys who have taken a more traditional career path.
