Re: 2020 Offseason
Armstead locked up for 5 years 85 million.
It's great that the defensive line is being kept together but my concern is investing so many resources into one position group because Buckner is due his deal as well. At least Bosa is on a rookie deal for the next few years.
Of course have to see how the deal is put together as I'm sure it's a deal where they'll cut bait with Armstead when Bosa needs to get paid and I'd guess the money is creatively moved to avoid taking too hard of a cap hit.

Not bad. But like you said, have to see the structure of it. They are also working on bringing Jimmie Ward back. Also, they made a run at Austin Hooper until he signed with the Browns. WOW. How could they have possibly afforded BOTH Hooper and Kittle who will no doubt get an extension. AND they are working on Bucker.

What the! They trade a stud like Buckner instead of tagging and trading Armstead? What! I am baffled completely.

Re: 2020 Offseason
So I would guess the discussion now is what do we do with the #13 pick? I gotta think that Shanahan is salivating over a Jerry Jeudy, Cee Dee Lamb, or Henry Ruggs. And if it's a WR at #13, I suppose that makes it even more unlikely that we re-sign Sanders.

I'm totally blown away that the Cards managed to get Hopkins for a mediocre (due to injury, but still), overpriced RB and a second-round pick. What a frickin' steal. Texans are awful.

OTC has a $6M cap hit in 20, leaves the 49ers with a little more than $16M of space.

I wonder if this means that Brunskill will move permanently to guard. He seems like he can be an upgrade over Person and making less salary in the process.

I think Person’s days are numbered. I read that we can save on the cap by cutting him.

Seems likely are the only one to have this deal. Thought you would like getting the extra draft pick plus saving cap/$$$

Re: 2020 Offseason
That's a good re-signing to me. Ward was a key part of last year's defensive surge. Now just hoping he can stay healthy.....
