Yeah the entire personnel is not suited for a downfield passing game.

QB doesn't have the strongest arm
WR's aren't fast and won't beat coverages downfield
O-Line can't sustain blocks to allow time for things to develop downfield.

Aiyuk was a downfield threat last year. Travis Benjamin has never been anything but a deep threat (granted he's old now).

You don’t have to be either of those things. Wentz is neither of those and he’s a QB who can overcome those things. You just have to either not have a noodle arm or have a little mobility.
