Jags are not exactly a fearsome offense but hoping he ramps up, not just for FF reasons.

The Jags have a sh8tty a$$ Oline and a mediocre QB and he's still dominating--he consistently sees 8 men in the box. Bortles threw 4TDs last week for a reason, not a coincidence. Man if Fournette had the luxury to play/run behind that Olin in Dallas', we'd all be talking about MVP candidate already.

Christian Kirk - WR - Aggies

Talking on the Paul Finebaum Show, Saturday Down South's Paul Crist said that Texas A&M junior WR Christian Kirk is the best wideout in the SEC.

Kirk (5'11/200) is certainly in that conversation. While he ranks just seventh in the SEC with his 250 receiving yards, we expect him to steadily improve on the statistical front over the course of the season while frosh QB Kellen Mond continues his acclimation to collegiate play. Kirk is coming off his best performance as a receiver of the young season, having just crushed Arkansas for a 5-110-2 receiving line.

Tyler Rogers' worst game of the year so far, still threw a slew of dimes. Take a look

Luke Falk - QB - Cougars

Washington State senior QB Luke Falk completed 34-of-51 passes for 340 yards and two scores with an interception in a 30-27 upset victory over USC on Friday.

Falk (6'4/223) made a few big plays over the middle, but most of the game was spent throwing the ball to wide open running backs like Jamaal Morrow and James Williams that gashed the USC defense all night. He had some accuracy issues on the intermediate ball, but he did enough and stayed tough in the pocket despite consistent pressure up the middle from the Trojan defense. Falk will take the undefeated Cougars into Eugene next week to take on Oregon.

Sam Darnold - QB - Trojans

USC redshirt sophomore QB Sam Darnold threw for just 164 yards on 15-of-29 passing with an interception in a 30-27 loss to Washington State on Friday.

Darnold (6'4/220) was much more effective with his legs, running for two scores near the goal line on read-options. Simply put, this was a poor game for Darnold. Outside of an impressive throw on 4th and 14, and a completion on a busted coverage to set up a score, Darnold was simply ineffective as a passer. He could have easily had another two picks -- one was for sure dropped in the end zone by a Cougar -- and he also lost the fumble on the last possession to secure the victory for Washington State. Even in a poor game like this there were flashes of brilliance, but we're now in game five of the season, and we've seen an awful lot of bad so far from the signal-caller. Darnold will likely ravage the porous Oregon State defense next week.

Ronald Jones II - RB - Trojans

USC junior RB Ronald Jones II (ankle) ran for 128 yards on 14 carries with a touchdown in a 30-27 loss to Washington State on Friday.

The good news was Jones II was able to go, and the 6-foot, 200-pound tailback was able to have the longest play of the game, an 86-yard stroll to the end zone to give the Trojans a 14-10 lead in the second quarter. The bad news is outside of that run, Jones wasn't able to do much, with just 42 yards on his other carries. Yardage is yardage, but it still doesn't look like he's quite at 100 percent just yet. We'll see if that changes next week against Oregon State.

Do USC's receivers fight for the ball or any type of positioning? Darnold takes a lot of responsibility for not knowing his personnel, but his receivers do nothing for him in the games I've watched.

Jake Browning - QB - Huskies

Washington junior QB Jake Browning completed 26-of-34 passes for 293 yards and three touchdowns with an interception and ran for a score in a 42-7 rout of Oregon State.

Browning (6'3/200) should petition the NCAA to have the pick taken away, as it was a clear drop by wideout Quentin Pounds that ended up in the hands of a Beaver defender. All three touchdowns were to all-world wideout Dante Pettis, and he could have had a fourth if he hadn't severely overthrown Pettis early in the first quarter. Browning is once again putting up sensational numbers, and there's no reason to think that won't continue next week with a date against Cal.

Myles Gaskin - RB - Huskies

Washington junior RB Myles Gaskin ran for 112 yards on 15 carries with a touchdown in a 42-7 victory over Oregon State on Saturday.

Gaskin (5'10/190) also caught a pass for nine yards. Fellow running back Lavon Coleman (concussion) was back in the lineup, which took some touches away from the talented tailback. Gaskin made the most of them, though. Again. His touchdown was a 32-yard gash of the woeful Oregon State defense to give the Huskies a 21-0 lead in the third quarter. The junior tailback is averaging over seven yards a carry this year, and will look to continue that impressive average next week against Cal.

Mason Rudolph - QB - Cowboys

Oklahoma State senior QB Mason Rudolph completed 27-of-38 passes for 370 yards with three scores and an interception along with two rushing touchdowns in a 41-34 victory over Texas Tech.

There was no hangover for Rudolph (6'5/230) after the upset loss to TCU. He was accurate with the football, and took advantage of his big-play weapons to outscore the impressive Red Raider offense. He now has a solid 13-to-3 touchdown-to-interception ratio, and is completing close to 67 percent of his passes. These are the types of performances that give Rudolph a chance to be a first-round pick in the spring.

Da'Shawn Hand - DL - Crimson Tide

Alabama senior DE Da'Shawn Hand could have an MCL strain according to HC Nick Saban.

Hand (6'4/278) picked up the injury in the middle of the third quarter. Saban says they'll undergo further tests on the defender on Sunday. It'd be a big loss for the Crimson Tide, who are already missing several defenders, and Hand is one of their best lineman.

Josh Rosen - QB - Bruins

UCLA junior QB Josh Rosen threw for 372 yards on 28-of-45 passing with a touchdown and an interception in a 27-23 victory over Colorado on Saturday.

Rosen (6'4/218) also ran for seven yards on five carries. Colorado's defense isn't quite at the level of last year, but their well-coached secondary gave Rosen some issues on Saturday. Still, Rosen flashed the immense talent, and made some NFL throws against the Buffaloes. His touchdown was a 12-yard corner route to Austin Roberts to tie the game at 7-7 late in the first. It'd be fair to call this a solid -- but not spectacular -- performance from Rosen. In two weeks, he should be able to shred the Arizona secondary.

Damn, now the Giants could probably look to draft one of the top QBs too.

IMO they were always considered one of the teams entering this season that was a serious threat in addressing the QB position in next year's draft (first round). Giants and Steelers are 2 teams that may act very aggressive in the upcoming draft by trading up to target a QB - planning for life without their current HOF quarterbacks.

Yeah but it's now easier for them to shoot for a QB.

As I'm watching highlights, Rivers may still be playing well but Chargers may look at a QB if they get in the top 5.

Da'Shawn Hand - DL - Crimson Tide

Alabama senior DE Da'Shawn Hand is expected to miss "about three games," according to beat writer Matt Zenitz.

As previously blurbed, Hand sprained his MCL when an Ole Miss blocker went low on a block. Hand could return for the contest against LSU on Nov. 4. He's obviously a focal point of the Alabama front seven.

Sam Darnold - QB - Trojans

USC redshirt sophomore QB Sam Darnold dropped from QB No. 1 to QB No. 5 in NFL Media's rankings of the position.

"Overall, he didn't play well vs. WSU, although he made an outstanding throw on fourth down late in the fourth quarter to keep USC alive," the group writes. The rankings are curated via position rankings from five draft experts who work for NFL Media. There are week to week changes, some even drastic, so keep that in mind when considering Darnold to shoot back up to No. 1 next week. Josh Rosen now tops the list.

Sam Darnold - QB - Trojans

Pro Football Weekly's Greg Gabriel reports that "scouts who've made USC school calls" tell him that USC redshirt sophomore QB Sam Darnold will stay in school.

MMQB's Albert Breer then quote-tweeted Gabriel's tweet to add the following interesting tidbit: "Heard this over the summer. More recently, that he was likely leaving. I think it's still up in the air, and probably tied to how he plays." Darnold's (6'4/220) completion percentage is down 2.6 points (to 64.6 percent) from last year, his YPA average is down about a half-yard (to 7.94), and he's already thrown only one interception (eight) less than he did all of last season. To go first this spring, he'll have to pick it up.
