Ugh. Predictable. I don't like it. He'd better be a pro bowler.

And the Hawks trade back. Of course. Ugh, ugh, ugh. At least we didn't trade up for Samuel.

How can the FO be so oblivious to our glaring need on the back end of our defense? And McShay..."The Niners had two needs: DE and WR." We had a historically bad defense last year, and a lot of that was because we had major issues at CB and safety.

Nope. He sucks. Niners suck. Lynch sucks. Time to change the team's name to the San Francisco Browns. :banghead:

Very curious to see what WRs are still on the board in the third.

Turned 23 in January '19.

Redshirted as a true freshman in '14 and worked on the scout team. Played in 5 games with 3 starts as a redshirt freshman in '15. Played in 5 games with 3 starts and battled an injury. Recorded 12 receptions for 161 yards and 1 TD. Suffered a hamstring injury in the opening game vs. North Carolina and did not record any numbers. 3 catches for 30 combined yards vs. Kentucky and Georgia in the next two games combined and then missed the next 7 games because of his hamstring. Saw limited action vs The Citadel and recorded 4 catches for 27 yards. Returned to the starting lineup for the finale vs. Clemson and caught 5 balls for 104 yards and 1 TD.

Played in only 10 games as a sophomore in '16 but was given the team's Most Explosive Player award by his teammates and was named the co-MVP of the team. Recorded 59 receptions for 783 yards and 1 TD. Also rushed 15 times for 98 yards and 6 TDs and returned 16 KOs for a 26.9-yard average with 1 TD. He also had 2 PRs for 8 yards and threw a 33-yard TD pass. Suffered another hamstring injury in the 2nd game of the year vs. Mississippi State and missed the next 3 games before returning to finish the season. Tied the school record with 14 receptions in the team's bowl game and also set Birmingham Bowl records for catches and 190 receiving yards. Also had 1 rush for 4 yards and 1 rushing TD in the game.

As a junior in '17, suffered a broken leg in the 3rd quarter of the 3rd game of the season vs. Kentucky. In a little more than 2.5 games recorded 15 catches for 250 receiving yards and 3 receiving TDs. He also returned both of his kickoff returns for touchdowns (both 97-yarders) and had 2 rushes for 30 yards and 1 rushing TD. Still tied for the team lead with 6 TDs in just 2.5 games.

Limited in spring practice with injuries as a senior in '18. In his second game of the '18 season vs. Clemson recorded 10 catches for 210 yards and 3 TDs. He followed that up with a 5-112-1 game vs. Chattanooga and then a 4-120-0 (long of 89) vs. Florida. However, those were his only 100+-yard receiving games for the rest of the season.

Showed very good YAC ability in 2016 before the injury. Great footwork in his routes and knows how to set up his routes very well. Very good at contested catches for his size but not overall at 37.9%. Only has a career target depth average of 7.8 yards. Listed Georgia CB Deandre Baker as the best cornerback he ever faced in college. Injuries need to be considered. Daniel Jeremiah listed him as his Senior Bowl practice MVP. 49ers brought him in to their facility for a meeting.

Again, I like Deebo. I don't like Deebo this high.

I HATE it over D.K..

I HATE it over A.J. Brown. There's no justifying this in my world IMO.

I strongly dislike it over Hakeem Butler.

And in the future I PERSONALLY feel like I could do more with Parris Campbell than Deebo and he doesn't scare me as much from an injury perspective.

But I repeat. I like Deebo somewhat. It's just poor value and he's had a bajillion injury aggravations.

At least I like the player somewhat.

But Kyle, c'mon!!! He drives me crazy with the position.

He is a younger version of Garcon so not a huge surprise. I just wanted that tall WR elite outside receiver we have not had since TO

Would've preferred Williams or Adderley over Samuel, but we knew they LOVED the kid, so this doesn't surprise me.

I don't think he sucks. And in a vacuum I don't hate the pick. But there were much better players available IMO, and at more important positions. I would have leapt at the trade the Hawks just got if he was the guy we were targeting.

Remember everyone hated Pettis, but he showed he has real talent last season. I think Samuel will be a solid player. I just wanted D.K. much much more or AJ Brown. But if he turns into Garcon we will be very happy. He was great in Wash and in Ind

Is AJ Jenkins available in FA? Deebo needs some inspiration.

Ha! And he's OLD. Sweet.

The saving grace for me is they worked with him at the Senior Bowl, so they should have a good sense of the person and the player. But man, they passed up on some good players. We'd better go DB in the third or I'm gonna lose my ****.

Return to San Francisco 49ers
