Glad we spent that 3rd round pick for a kicker with ice in his veins.
With the way this game went you just knew it was going to be a miss.

Re: Week 6: 49ers @ Browns
Team needed the L. A bazillion boneheaded mistakes. Again, and early season out of conference L, in the grand scheme, is not the worst ever. Im more concerned about CMC and Deebo being healthy.
Although those 2 flags on the Browns last drive were atrocious calls.

Such a heartbreaker.
But honestly, Cleveland utterly dominated that game

Yeah, i agree i felt they could've gotten 5-10 more yards by using the timeout. Oh well, c est la vie.RIPskaterdude wrote:They never even used the TO to get closer

Hopefully Shannahan and the offense learn something from this game and don't let it happen again.

Re: Week 6: 49ers @ Browns
We had a TO, why not run another play and pick up more yards? 41 yards is not an easy field goal.

Re: Week 6: 49ers @ Browns
49ers got big heads, riled up the Browns, who dominated BOTH LOS.
The second level Browns defenders were coming downhill all game. The OL didn't hold up and the 49ers had nothing to beat the pressure.
On defense even with an inexperienced QB, the Browns were getting healthy average gains, with first contact often on the other side of the LOS.
If not for their QB, 49ers wouldn't have been in this game at all.
Purdy didn't handle the pressure well at all, he short armed some passes and was off in accuracy. Even when they were winning, he was often throwing behind WRs. Well today, it showed that when the margins are thin, you can't be off on ball placement, especially with two key starters on offense out of the game.

Re: Week 6: 49ers @ Browns
Not the end of the world and I don't mean to overreact but I can't see this team beating the Eagles and if we're going to get to the SB we're going to have to hope we don't run into them in the playoffs. They can basically do what the Browns against us but better.
Once again the dollar store approach to the offensive line is going to cost us when it really matters and for a team with so many draft picks I just don't see why we waste them on things like a kicker or a useless TE instead of drafting offensive line like crazy until you get it addressed.

Team didn't deserve this one. Got outplayed all game long and left it up to a last second FG. Should never had been in that situation as a 10 point favorite going against a backup QB.
