On the heels of the agent’s optimistic report, came a ESPN NFL Insiders report that after the medical rechecks this past Friday, the rotator cuff hasn't healed as expected and even the possibility of a second surgery was postulated.

What is the truth here? It is usually somewhere in the middle. Regardless, Foster is capable of being ready for the season. But there is concern.

As for when he is full-go, it depends on what type of rotator cuff surgery he underwent.

If he had a debridement of a partial tear like Cam Newton recently had, Foster should be close to ready by now (and his agent would likely be trumpeting how close he is). If he had a rotator cuff tear where sutures were used in the surgery (which seems likely), that would mean a minimum of six months of recovery resulting in starting training camp on the non-football injury list.

Rotator cuff tears requiring true repair are unusual in a 23-year-old, and teams might worry about recurrent shoulder problems.

Wait, did I see Harris wearing a Jack Links shirt? Are they REALLY using these kids to advertise now even in THIS situation? My god.

If I were running the Giants I'd take Kizer and RUN. Sit him behind Manning for a couple of years and then profit.

If you ONLY watch the POSITIVES on EVERY single prospect in this draft, some of my favorite times this year were spent watching Charles Harris' positives.

Was that a prediction? If so, spot on.

Fish got the a steal. I'd honestly rather have Harris than Solomon (both will be great).

There was a gigantic Sasquatch in the lining of someone's jacket. Forget who. Jacket was green.

They were all drafted high but no big-time stars ...

Edit: Julio Jones!

Who else?

Amari Cooper
Dee Millner
Clinton Dix

Amari had a great rookie season but not as much in his second year.

Dee Millner, not sure about.

I think Landon Collins had a very good year last year, not sure about Dix. But it's just one season so far for Collins.

Some busts though like Trent Richardson

Giants going with Engram over Njoku. Just depends on what you want to do. My biggest problem with Engram is you can rattle him around and play with him more easily than I'd like to see for a move guy. Really it just depends on what you're going to ask him to do and who is around him. For the Giants it's far more interesting than many other spots.
