I don't need congrats. I am just pointing out that this could be an issue in the playoffs when many games have bad weather and you play against the best defenses.

That could be an issue for any QB at any point.

True, but people need to stop acting like he's carrying this team. He's an above average QB that looks great when conditions are ideal. His playmakers and Kyle are doing a majority of the lifting.

o
Nobody here thinks he is carrying anything. But Kyle had just as bad of a game today, Aiyuk dropped two passes he usually doesn't, oline couldn't block in the run game or pass game, defense couldn't stop the run consistently, Moody missed two FGs.

Playmakers and Kyle didn't do any heavy lifting today

Of course they didn't do any heavy lifting. And we saw the result of what happens when they don't.

Well, turns out Jalen Hurts is not immune to having a bad game against a good defense (without Sauce Gardner) in pleasant weather.

Eagles lose and Hurts throws 3 INTs nearly 4, interesting

Must be due to Hurts just being a system QB/game manager who only wins because he has a good head coach.

Hurts is already a proven commodity. High pedigree, and he damn near won a superbowl. Purdy is still being judged game to game.

You aren't even judging him game by game, if you were you would see he has way more good games then the one or two bad games he has had. You are judging based on his coach, playmakers, and if he can win a Super Bowl in his 2nd year in the league or not

If this team's bar isn't at least making the Superbowl at this point in the timeline I don't even know what we're doing here.

I think we all have the same expectations here. Problem is to you if we win and offense plays well and Purdy plays well it is because of the playmakers and coach not Purdy, if we lose and Purdy doesn't have a good game it is his fault

And often you take a small part of a post and respond and not care about the rest of it

Actually, I think he's been a big part of a lot of the wins. Similar to how Jimmy & Kirk Cousins have both had a lot of great regular season games. My problem is that he doesn't have an extra gear that the top guys have, and I think it will cost in the playoffs.

Man, I'd love to have him on the field with our special teams unit. Could you imagine how good we could be if we had someone who could move the goal posts every time someone attempts a kick? Lynch needs to give him a contract!

Jimmy never strung regular season games like that. Obvious you don't watch the games

We all critique every player on the team including Purdy, go in the game thread and you will see it. But that is not what you do, you keep trying to find reasons for Purdy not to be a good to great QB. No matter what he does, you don't care and doesn't change your mind. He could make a few bad throws and throw a couple INTs just like every other QB including the ones that have all those physical tools you love and that is when you will jump in.

Not just any QB can make these throws and reads, you are completely blind if you think so.

Everyday it is something new with this troll.

He said this before the Dallas game

My guess is that he's going to look a lot more like Jimmy in this game than some world beater. His limitations are going to be more apparent against a good D.

The troll was wrong again. So he has to scour the internet to find a Purdy doubter following the game and then he makes up crap like the WRs were all wide open when anyone who watched the game could see many of the throws were made in tight windows. Now, his latest thing is Purdy is going to struggle in the playoffs in the cold weather. LOL

Look who was right about how he'd look against a good defense in bad weather.

Looks like Hurts didn't have that extra gear yesterday. You are wrong with just about everything

I get reserving judgment. But the kid is 2-0 in playoff games that he didn't exit with an injury. He was a huge piece of the Seahawks game, as he absolutely carved them up in the second half. And although he wasn't great against Dallas, he made the plays he needed to to get the win.

Missed this post. I mean, predict an outcome enough times and eventually you'll get it right. You also predicted he'd struggle against the Cowboys and he lit them up.

The entire team, especially the offense, looked off yesterday. Is a hefty chunk of that on the QB? Absolutely. But his supporting cast didn't show up, either. I'll do a quick game review in another post.

He looked a lot like bad Jimmy against the Browns.
