Rookie defensive lineman Kentavius Street, a fourth-round pick who tore his ACL in the pre-draft process, might practice this week, Shanahan said. Street remains on the non-football injury list. He will not play this season, but the 49ers can get him on the practice field for the final three weeks.

They need to just shut him down and let him get healthy. Should have held him out a few games earlier in the season and let him finally heal.

I'll eat crow on Pettis. He's been much better than I anticipated. I'm still concerned about his ability to stay on the field for a full season, but it's clear that his change-of-direction and route-running abilities are special. When I watched the college tape, I didn't see that - possibly because college highlight tapes aren't good at showing a receiver's full route. I really hope he can keep it up. Though if Harold Landry pans out as an edge rusher, I'll still be somewhat dissatisfied with the Pettis pick.

i've seen a lot of players bodies change in their 2nd year, so I'm hoping with more time in a pro system and pro training he could develop a build that allows him to be more durable. My only gripe with him this year has been some of the mental errors, but that should fix with experience.

This draft may actually surpass expectations, we found some good pieces in mcglinchy, pettis, and warner. James is showing he can be a play maker. Harris showed some solid progress in the last couple games. I'm excited to see how moore does the next 2 weeks.
