Jon Gruden

He should be the next and final coach for the next decade or so. Bring back the "West Coast" offense. He the pedigree and a super bowl ring as a coack to bring this team back. Gruden is the only and right choice as the next coach.

Tank the rest of the season and draft Andrew Luck.

Agreed, but not about the tanking.

I agree. I hope we keep Singletary as an assistant, but it's very doubtful.

O and I agree with Yi...don't tank.

Play more young talents and trade away veterans that we wont need (Very similar to the michael lewis, taylor mays situation), probably will result in more losses, but definetly improves us giving these players some experience. Not tanking, but not playing for the quick win

If you cant win, lose. Lose big. We need high draft picks to do anything.

If the 49ers are going to target a former coach/current analyst type, I'd much rather they target Blll Khower, he's more proven and I'd rather have him easily.

Cowher is obviously the number 1 free agent coach right now. I doubt he goes anywhere on the west coast. Although with a talented D he might give the Niners a double take. There's no way they even think about tanking yet. The division leader has 4 wins. With us still playing 5/6 division games. Sadly but true the Niners are very alive.
To quote GetSeven
With Jimmy at the 2 spot this lineup (along with depth) has the potential to be the best since the Jordan/Pippen days easy.

I would love Jon Gruden with Singletary as his defensive coordinator, but I doubt that scenario would happen.

As for Andrew Luck, I think the Bills won't be stupid enough to pass on a QB for another year. (But, who knows they're the Bills).

I don't know if you've been paying attention to Ryan Fitzpatrick. But he's the only saving grace for the Bills. They have so many more issues they need to take care of besides quarterback. Plus that pick will most likely fall to the Carolina Panthers or the Cardinals (most likely the latter).
