Jim Harbaugh has agreed to a five-year, $25 million contract to become the San Francisco 49ers' head coach Friday, according to team and league sources.

Beat me to it. thank god, we actually have a decent coach. First time in years. Singletary's attitude was fine, but his methods didn't translate to the HC.
LaMarcus for Heisman!!!

Roster:Lillard/Mathews/Batum*/LA/Lopez

*Its not pronounced with a !@#$ing s, he's french. It's Nico-la, not Nico-las.

Great news, I'm very happy about this.

Now if he can perform half as good as his brother, the 9ers will be in good shape.

New hope once again for the 49ers. Harbaugh will be able to groom our future QB and command solid offense for the 49ers. Can't wait to see if Harbaugh can get this team over the hump and become relevant once again.

Yeah, This is definitely good new to hear. I was so happy when I heard He signed a contract with the 49ers.

I really do think he has the coaching skills and the ability to be come a Hall-Of-Fame type of coach. I hope he and our new GM can change things around. I think if we can add a few decent draft pick/Free Agents. And our young OL/QB can get on track (Not sure if we keep Alex or Draft a new QB). We could be in the Playoffs next season.

^^^ I'm not sure any of the remaining QB's are worth our first round pick. There are some good CBs that would help the 49ers that are first round worthy. We can look into trading for a QB like Eagles Kolb or McNabb?
