I just heard that he was released which I think is crazy. Anyone think we have a chance to sign him? I also heard the Packers might try and work out a new deal so this may be in vein but its fun to think about.

I'm thinking the most likely scenario is that they cut him so they had more options for a new deal with Green Bay, but it would be worth looking into, even though LB is not really a need area for the 49ers.
