What a great win for so many reasons. Mainly because this shows that our team can adjust and win in different ways. The Giants game plan was to shut down Frank Gore and make Smith beat them, and he did just that. He looked so poised in the pocket. Kendall Hunter did a great job stepping in for Gore, he's like our own Darren Sproles. I was really impressed with our offense today.

Our defense did a good job of bending not breaking. Our secondary struggled a little bit. Rogers played great and those two picks were huge but they still struggled in coverage. Eli was about an inch away from tying the game up.

The Giants were definitely our toughest challenge this year and we stepped up. It's so refreshing being able to watch this team and actually expect something good to happen. I have so much confidence in our guys for the first time in I don't know how many years.

Great win!

Maybe the Packers . . . MAYBE!
I love our team. Our secondary struggled a little but I also thought Eli had some incredible throws.
Analyst can be so dumb some times. I was watching NFL Network and they asked a reporter if he felt that the Niners could do well in the playoffs. He immediately acted like it was a crazy question and said (after watching the Giants game) that he didn't know if the Niners offense could beat a good offense. Hmm . . . feel like that just happened. He questioned if Smith could win a game . . . if he didn't play well enough to win it then we didn't win that Giants game. I'm not saying we are perfect but come on! Our defense alone is good enough to be dangerous. Oh and the Packers pass defense is second to last in the league. Alex can throw against them. Dumb.
