Last night's game proved this team belongs to Gore and the running game. The growing process of Kap will continue to have its ups and downs but the running game should be the focal point. Gore finally became the main headline in the offense that was sputtering the last 2 weeks losses and Hunter came up big as well. His speed and shiftiness was missed last year and the earlier in the year. The less I see of LaMichael James the better. You don't see that scary breakaway threat, the elusiveness, the stop and start quick twitch reactions from him. Clearly he hasn't don't much. With Lattimore waiting in the wings, James time and not Gore's time will end sooner than later.
On another note, Trumaine Brock last night looks to be a better fit than Asomugha. He was making plays and providing better coverage than either Asomugha or Cox. He deserves to be the 3rd on passing downs.

Re: Gore, Hunter, Lattimore
I agree that the running game has to be the focus of this offense, for two reasons. The first is that without Crabtree and Manningham, the passing game is already weaker than it was last season. Secondly, Gore is such a damn good RB that we would be stupid not to use him more. I hope he still has plenty of good years left in him, but I'm excited to see Lattimore develop and hope that he can become the stud RB we will need post-Gore. I'm really stoked that we got this kid in the draft, and I think he can be a real weapon for us if he can stay healthy and his knees hold up.
