I have called Culliver stupid and immature right after the super bowl lost, but his actions are now criminal with the last incident. The Niners have signed or resigned 3 corners : Cook, Wright, and now Cox. All 3 could make the team or none or keep some. Before his latest stupid act, Carlos Rogers was cut making the depth and experience in the backfield worse.
Navarro Bowman and Patrick Willis play on 3rd down or on passing downs. Now with Bowman out for at least half the season, his replacement is needed. Skuta was a inside backer and could see time there again in running downs. What is going to hurt more is who replaces him on passing downs with Willis?
Crabtree free agent after the season and his asking price might be more than the Niners are willing to pay. Boldin has a 2 year deal but is 34 years old and Patton played well but the Niners really need a deep threat to create better running lanes.
Kilgore will be the new starter who has never started an NFL game and his backup is Looney who is learning the position so help is needed. Iupati is in the same boat as Crabtree, both deserve bigger contract but do the Niners want to pay?
If a trade happens, would love to see the Niners go after Odell Beckham by trading the 30th pick, 61st, and LaMichael James to the Ravens. They could use extra picks and the Ray Rice thing may be a season long issue.
Round 1-30th Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech, perfect size, speed, arm length, technique but has not been healthy for sometime even in college.
Round 2-56th Jaylen Watkins, CB, Florida, volunteered to play safety with Roberson and Purifoy and outplayed them both. By him switching position to safety it showed the team comes first to him.
Round 2-61st Martavis Bryant, WR, Clemson, overshadowed by Watkins but offers size and speed. Will learn from Boldin and Crabtree and eventually replaces one of them. Only one spot open with the resigning of Osgood.
Round 3-77th Telvin Smith, OLB, FSU, First surprise as stated above a replacement for Bowman on 3rd downs as the cover linebacker. Also with Phil Dawsons short kickoffs, another special team standout is needed.
Round 3-94th Ed Reynolds, S, Stanford, even though Bethea was signed he is still 30 years old. And it could mean the end for Spillman who only plays special teams and some goal line stuff.
Round 3-100th Travis Swanson, C, Arkansas, comp pick can't be traded so it's found gold. A bigger center if Kilgore can't handle starting.
Round 4- 129th Josh Mauro, DE, Stanford, will learn from two great vets in Smith and McDonald. Offers size at the DE position.
Round 5- 170th Aaron Colvin CB, Oklahoma, injured but will redshirt like Tank and Lattimore.
Round 7 - Trey Burton, Florida, WR/TE/FB, Delaine Walker clone.
Round 7 - Spencer Long, G, Nebraska, another injured player will redshirt like Tank and Lattimore.
Round 7 - Logan Thomas, QB, Virginia Tech. future 3rd stringer maybe

Re: April 1 mock draft
I like Fuller a lot. Watkins is a good player as well although I'd think he'd still be available at 61 and possibly 77 if we really want him. There are CBs I like better at 56 (Pierre Desir and Phillip Gaines from Rice).
Bryant is a big reach at that spot. I'd see him at the end of the third, but not the end of the second. He's tall and fast, but extremely underdeveloped and developing WRs hasn't exactly been our strong suit.
Like the rest of your picks.

Re: April 1 mock draft
1st round (30) - Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech or Jason Verret, CB, TCU.
These are the two corners best ready to contribute this year. Verret in the slot and Fuller either slot or outside. Both have some injury concerns but not longterm issues.
2nd round (56) - Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss
The one thing our WR core is really missing is a deep threat, somebody who can take the top off a defense. Moncrief is the best deep threat in this draft. He has the speed to blow by the coverage, and the size to win jump balls. He is raw and needs to work in the gym, on routes and needs to trust his hands more, but he'll be a beast in a year.
2nd round (61) - Wild Card
This pick could be used in a trade up or out for 2015, but it looks like a good spot to snag a premier talent who has fallen. Dominique Easley is not a great fit in a 3-4, but if the doctors clear him, I think you'd have to take him here and figure out the fit later. Stephon Tuitt and Ra'Shade Hageman are two more I've seen falling in some mocks, and they'd both be much more natural fits. A few more I would jump on here are, Troy Niklas, Austin Sefarian-Jenkins, Jimmie Ward, Ryan Shazier and Marcus Martin.
3rd round (77) - Bruce Ellington, WR, South Carolina
Love this guy. He's the mini WR version of Delanie Walker. Explodes off the line and shows great hands. He's still pretty raw as he split time with basketball in college, but he gives 100% every play would make a great weapon in the slot or anywhere you line him up.
3rd round (94) - Phillip Gaines, CB, Rice
Good sized cornerback with all the physical tools to excel in any role. Needs to add strength and be more aggressive against the run.
3rd round (100) - BPA
Christian Jones, Telvin Smith, Terrance Brooks, Deone Buchannon and Martavis Bryant are 5 I really like here if they make it.
