I hate to see injuries but that is certainly a huge blow to the Cardinals.

Huge injury for them. Hate injuries. Even to rivals.

They were #1 against the run last season and he was a pretty big reason why, swallowing up double teams along with Campbell. With him out, this is HUGE blow to their D, which carried them last season.

Injuries suck.

But this has shut the cardinals sports radio guys mouths lately. Man so many of them think we are going to finish 3rd or even last In the division this year and the expectations are high for them this year.

Finally nice hearing them come back down to earth.

Not saying it will be easy in this division at all. But it's been annoying hearing them.

It's funny, I was thinking, "Man, this is going to kill them in the middle. They've lost both ILBs and now their starting DT/DE." Then I think about it and remember we've lost our ILB and NT. Though I feel like our depth and ability to withstand those losses is somewhat better. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the Cards this year. That offense could be really good if Palmer limits the turnovers. But the D might actually be pretty shaky, especially against the run.

if any team going to take over niners it is rams. i don't see that happening either but they have a better shot than cardinals. cards will regress book it.

I think the cards still have a somewhat solid defense. It will be up to Peterson/cromartie/Matthieu to hold down that fort back there. They have loaded up there WR core this year and if Palmer can stop the INTs then they might be tougher. Heck were kinda similar as in it might have to be our offense winning games to start the year.

The rams have Bradford and that's all you need to know. Nasty defense there building tho.
