So, who is everyone most interested in watching tomorrow? For me (not necessarily in order):

1. CBs
2. Lynch & Lemonier
3. Hyde
4. LMJ
5. Ellington (hopefully getting a chance with the 1s
6. Kaepernick
7. Backup QBs
8. M. Martin/Kilgore
9. Looney
10. Patton
11.Wilhoite/Borland

Pretty much my list minus LMJ. I'd add McDonald and I'm also curious about Stevie and Lloyd.

Any national coverage tomorrow?

I think I saw earlier that Lloyd is "working through something" still. I don't know if he'll play, and if he does, he likely won't play much.

I believe it's on nationally on Fox tomorrow

Also, LMJ interests me because Ellington has looked quite good in the return game. If James looks meh in the next two weeks, his spot on the roster (long term) could be in jeopardy.

I hope he is in jeopardy....and I agree Ellington has been a nice pick. Could be a real steal for us. Poor man's Percy Harvin maybe?

Good. Thanks.

If folks miss it, it's gonna be replayed on NFLN. Monday night maybe?

I'm struggling with the thought that we can keep both because neither will play special teams......I need to take a look at a projected 53 and see how special teams is looking.

I don't think he's in jeopardy this year with Hunter being hurt and Latimore a huge question mark. But if he's not going to be a part of ST, he's pretty replaceable as a #3 RB.

I can't see Smith or that other RB we signed taking his spot.

I think we can get away with both if we get ST play from other positions. if we went into the season with 6 WR (Crab, Boldin, Johnson, Lloyd, Ellington and Patton), but got a lot of ST play from DBs and LBs we'd still be okay.

I don't know if we keep both because I believe that Ellington will be the 4th WR, and can't see Lloyd being a #5 WR on a team that throws as little as we do with a TE that commands so many targets.

I think there would be legitimate concerns about disruption of chemistry.

You're right.....just never been a fan of his. Doesn't seem like a good fit for us.

Yep. Do we roll them in like hockey lines? Lol. Depth is a blessing and a curse. Lloyd gets cut and someone scoops him up.

Aside from players, I just want to establish a rhythm and punch in some scores. Our RZ offense has killed us the last couple of years.

I just don't necessarily see a spot for him on the team going forward. I'd love to see him be successful in the future, but I don't see it happening in SF.

I don't know if he would get scooped up. He didn't play at all last year, and hasn't done anything in preseason this year due to his injuries. How many teams would be interested. I bet he gets cut, and if we have any injuries at WR during the season, he's the first call.

Unless someone has depth or injury issues already. To be honest,I'm way behind on studying rosters. Gotta cram for FFB drafts starting tomorrow.

I'm quite behind too, but I don't know if any team would want to take Lloyd on as a bottom of the roster guy. I also don't know if Lloyd would want to sign with a team that isn't a Super Bowl calibre team.

What are we going to do about backup QB?

I'm drinking heavily.....Gabbert has been awful. I just want someone that can get us through a game or two if Kaep gets a concussion or minor injury. But Gabbert has made me long for Carr. J/k

I'd prefer Johnson but no way we eat Sunshine's salary. I don't think we suit 3 either. :banghead:
