First Roster cuts on Tuesday

What is the point of keeping 6 WR's when we never run close to a 5 WR set and none of them will play special teams. Maybe Ellington will return kicks and punts but that is it

Hasn't Patton played some at gunner?

Not in the regular season that I know of.. Maybe he did this preseason but I am not sure.

I'm ok with this. Having LMJ and Ellington makes Cox's ST ability not needed and if we expect Ward to play nickel, then his marginal skills are going head to head with the upside of Acker and Johnson.

He was ok but he didn't really make plays, whereas the above mentioned CBs do.

That doesn't look good. Hopefully these guys impress.

It doesn't necessarily look bad either. It looks unknown.

It also isn't all that different from what was projected. The only difference seems to be Acker over Cox.

I read on ESPN that Patton is the 3rd we. He beat out Johnson.

I'd bring in BJ Daniels to be our back up and release Gabbert and Johnson. I know it wont happen but I think that'd be best for the team.

Would have an extra roster spot too to bring back Morris.
