11-5 and Super Bowl champions.
I think we'll struggle early on in the season but we'll get a hot streak late and roll with that to the Super Bowl.
I see our issues in the preseason a bit overblown and people (mainly the media) are forgetting what Kap has done with Crabtree, Boldin, and Davis in the past and we're even noticeably better off on offense this season than last season. We have a healthy Crabtree, an improved Vance, Carlos Hyde, Stevie Johnson, along with Patton and Ellington for depth.
Defensively I see our issues with our secondary a bit on the overblown side. Unproven doesn't equal bad and while I don't consider our secondary great I do think it's good and actually will be better than last year and maybe even the best we've had in the Harbaugh era.
Bethea will actually cover better than Whitner and have far less 15 yard penalties and less missed tackles going for killshots instead of wrapping up.
Reid should be better by virtue of him no longer being a rookie.
Brock has stepped up big time and is the best CB on our team and is better than Brown or Rogers would've been.
Culliver is my biggest question mark but he's clearly the most physical of the bunch I just think he'll struggle early until he gets some reps in with his knee.
Ward is going to have typical rookie struggles but he's far more capable of keeping up with the Harvins and Welkers in the slot than Rogers ever was.
Front 7 what excites me is we actually have honest to goodness depth and we should be able to rotate guys along the line and keep play at a high level throughout the game and throughout the season and not have to overwork Justin Smith and Ray Mac.
I believe defensively it'll be a strong unit later in the season when Bowman and hopefully Dorsey come back and the secondary get some reps to gel along with the depth that should keep our front 7 fresher than it usually has been later in seasons.
