Apologies to the mods/regs who don't like non-Niner threads, but a lot of these guys have come up in conversation over the years for the Niners or during the draft, so I think it's relevant and worth a thread. Could also be potential targets, though I'm skeptical we sign anyone to the 53.

Law Firm might be the most noteworthy name. A few others that stood out:

Stephen Hill, from the Jets, no less...

Tajh Boyd (not a huge shock, but I figured it was semi-noteworthy)
Nate Burleson - who do the Browns have at receiver?

Mikel Leshoure is a bit of a surprise.

OT Eric Winston for SEA

DL Kevin Vickerson, a starter for DEN last year was cut.

Kenjon Barner who they just trade for (I think) cut by Iggles

Alex Henery also cut

Vickerson is someone I'd look at if healthy...

Hill too.... Just get him some trys...

S Major Wright cut by Bucs

Vincent Brown getting waived by Chargers.

Champ Bailey cut by Saints.

That's a surprise. Seems like going into last season he was looking like a potential starter, even, and at worst a valuable third receiver.

From what I have read, he put out some good tape. Wouldn't be shocked if a team that isn't as deep at DE picked him up. Rams might have the best group of DEs in the league.

Hopefully that somewhat dims the notion that he was a 3rd rounder who slipped because he came out.

Rams were loaded so I would imagine a less talented team has a spot for him but honestly I wish the story would just die. If they want a gay man to be treated like everyone else on the team than don't have 24/7 coverage of what he does on the team and treat him like every other no name 7th rounders.

I'm really surprised at some of these cuts namely Stephen Hill and Burleson as both their teams have nothing at WR and both were looking like big contributors.
