Ha ha.....classic. When I saw the Michigan game summary, I knew that you'd be happy today.

I mentioned him the last two years as well, sporadically because he wasn't going to be in the draft. But now, he's going to dominate and I want him in SF.

Spent two years at TE for Michigan, this year they've moved him to WR. 6'5, 230 pounds. Great speed and agility for a TE, good for a WR. Strong hands, decent route runner (we'll see how he does with the WR routes this year). He will be Michigan's offense this year.

Had 7/95/3 today

http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/video?gam ... d=11437289

I also wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Gardner late in the draft.

Not a fan of Gardner. We will see how he progresses at QB. Still think Morris is the best QB on michigan's roster. Green looked good today.

well a TE like Jimmy Graham is a TE. Not a true TE, but not really a WR

My thing with Gardner is that for his first two years at UM he was a WR. He played a little QB as a soph when Robinson got hurt.

He's got the tools, he just needs refining. If we could get him in the 6th or 7th (or undrafted) our staff may be able to turn him into something.

And I've spent the last year advocating for a backup that has a similar skill set to Kap so that if he does get hurt, we can run the same offense.

he came in as a QB though correct? I guess it just depends on what I see from him this year. But Funchess.... That kids is a freak.

Title edited to be relevant.

Also, let's try to keep college prospects in the 2015 draft thread or we'll have a million threads about prospect X and Y.

Thanks

He did. He just brings some versatility to a team that is pretty set at QB1 for the foreseeable future. He's got really good size for a WR, and some experience there. If we're looking late in the draft, a guy that hasn't had a lot of coaching at QB, with some experience at WR and great size seems like a decent guy to take a flyer on. I'm not going to be on here all year calling for us to draft him, but if he's on the board in the late 6th, I may start mentioning his name.

Funchess on the other hand, I want.

We're going to have a million threads anyway. If we talk about every prospect in the draft thread, it will be very difficult to keep up with.

Also, this thread has become just as much, if not more so, about Devin Gardner, so "Devin Funchess" is not a relevant title.

And the title it had originally was relevant, because I am going to be pimping Funchess all year and the rest of the board is being warned about it.

I don't think he goes as high as Evans, but I could see him being a late first round pick.

He's also only a junior, so he may stay in school. But I don't expect him to right now.

He lost weight in order to transition to the WR position. I heard he's about 214lbs. Source is Jabrill Peppers, your true freshman starting corner who played at a local high school around here (Paramus Catholic in Jersey).
