Osgood cut again

to make room for Boone.

The deadline to get vested vets off the roster without being responsible for their season salary was 1:00 PDT. The move was announced just after 1:00. I assume they got it done in time so that Osgood is off the books.

I also expect him to be back next week when A. Davis is healthy.

Nah. He still gets paid for the week, and apparently didn't travel with the team.

My assumption is that they were waiting to see what Davis' status was. If AD was healthy, Farrell would have been cut. But since AD won't play, we need that extra OL.

Presumably once Davis is healthy is again, Osgood comes back and takes Farrell's spot.

This also helps the team because Osgood's salary won't be guaranteed for the year.

Definitely worried about our special teams, one of our former captains against us, and now Osgood won't be one of the major gunners against him.
