Really **** game.. Offense sucked, defense folded, Kap had his worst game of his career, refs sucked, penalties sucked, Ward had to cover a big receiver and that is not going to work.

But luckily this is just one game and we have 14 left. Need to clean up a lot if we want to make the playoffs and **** needs to change.

Also I love this team but I am seriously considering not watching anymore of the games until Roman is canned. I don't give a **** what excuses we've had, we should have had at least 1 ring so far and he's the main reason why we don't. I am so **** sick and tired of getting up 10 to 0 or 14 to 0 and NOT KEEPING OUR GAME PLAN AND GOING FOR THE KILLER KNOCK OUT. Instead we decide to CHANGE our game plan and are just happy with kicking a **** field goal when you can instead go up 24 to 7 and basically change the game entirely.

Not surprised Kaepernick is still making a bunch of really, really, really dumb decisions.

Last week Staley played great & Iupati played poorly. This week it was the other way around.

When will Anthony Davis be back? :banghead: I can't see how the OL would be worse with Boone at RT and Looney at RG.

Never want to see Brandon Marshall again.

FALL ON THE FRIGGN' BALL LYNCH!!! When can we expect the tank?

Vance still can't catch. He's looking like a bust. If they wanted a TE who was big, fast & couldn't catch they should've converted Terron Armstead to a TE Like I wanted 'em to.

Another HUGE problem I had:

Why did we not use Ellington at all?? Utilize his damn speed!! Spread out the defense, run some sweeps or drags across the field. Do something with him!

Besides Kaepernick's picks, other things that lost game. Losing game in the trenches. Where the hell is the pass rush? Brooks did squat. Lemonier did squat. Cutler is a statue and the 49ers let him become too comfortable in the pocket. A. Davis has to get healthy and back in there. This team has a ways to go

We can barely utilize our first options, let alone Ellington or Patton.

That said, I'm not sure it's all on the coaching. Kaepernick still has problems progressing smoothly through his reads, so naturally our #3 and #4 WRs will struggle to get good looks.

I can only remember Ellington being on the field once on offense but then we had a false start and he was taken off.. he can't get the ball if he isn't on the field.

Frustrating lost because it's a game we really should've won comfortably and we really had no business losing it and the things that really burn me are:

1. Officiating: I"m not one to run out and blame officiating for a loss but this is this is now the second game where bad calls have extended drives that have lead to points and it cost us today. We lost 7 on Gore's long TD run on a garbage holding call on Boldin. Instead of scoring 7 to end the 1st half the Bears would've punt the ball if it wasn't for that terrible call on Dial. Than we had a hands to a face call against Lemonade that again extended drive that lead to points that should've been punted away.

2. 3rd and 6: Why in the world did we run the ball 3 times in a row and especially on 3rd and 6 in the RZ? Kap at this point had success throwing the ball and converting 3rd downs and there was no reason to play for 3 points. Getting a TD there would've meant instead of being down 21 to 20 later in the game we're still up 24 to 21 and that would change it from needing to score to running a careful drive that might've not lead to another INT.

3. Kap: It's putting the nice sheets back onto your kid's bed because you're confident that they no longer wet it only to have them piss the bed that next night. You just can't have all those turnovers and give them chances to score especially in the 4th quarter. Everytime you think he's turn the corner he throws out a dud like this.

4. Defense: Gotta have some more creative blitz packages. It's been a gripe of mine for a while but it just never seems like we're fooling anyone out there. And I'm tired of rushing 4 and watching guys catch balls in front of our defenders. If you're only going to rush you better not give up the completion and too often we give up an easy 10 yards. It doesn't matter how good you're guys are at getting to the QB it's always an advantage when it's 5 vs 4 and even moreso when the offensive line rarely has to worry about the blitz.

Now on to some positives:

- The turnovers were terrible but take those 4 away and it's actually a pretty nice game for Kap again. He was a bit high on passes early but he eventually got the ball down and was able to go through progression and find open guys. The turnovers were just so bad it completely wiped out anything positive that he did do.

- The run defense looked really good in this game and overall it wasn't a bad defensive performance. As I mentioned earlier the refs kept drives alive that should've been punted away which made the defense look worse than it actually was

We were still the better team out there and nothing I saw out there wasn't anything that couldn't be cleaned up. The lingering issues with Kap wetting the bed, the head scratching playcalling, and Fangio stubbornly only rushing 4 nearly the entire game are things that are concerns though.

How can anyone criticize the coordinators when the QB turned the ball over 4 times? There are 2 and only 2 reasons the Niners lost: Colin and Kaepernick.

The refs were **** awful but the Dial penalty was the right call, he led with his helmet straight into the guy, a no no in the league now. Props to Cutler for staying in the game and winning it, though. I'm sure he broke a rib or two on that play.

Maybe I'm just being a conspiracy theorist, but did anyone else notice that the flags pretty much stopped after we lost the lead?

I feel like the flags just sucked the life out of us, it's hard to build a rhythm when the refs stop the game every other play. it's rare that i feel that frustrated when we have the lead in a game. I'm usually impossible to anger when we are winning, but i felt by the end of the first quarter. I know it had to have some effect on the players.

Of course Keaperdick also made his debut which also sucked the life out, but the ref's had way to much of an impact, most of the calls where tiny typically over looked plays.

Dumb Dumb blew it offensively.... I mean those turnovers were on him. Yes Conte made a great play on his part but it happened because dun dun dunnnn Kap eyed his target from start to finish. Kap hesistated in a pocket, a pocket that is not currently a strength right now for the team as seasons past.

Defensively, the zero pass rush once again defeated us. Throw in the every play soft coverage, nothing changes on this defense from a scheme standpoint. It truly hinders on the skill/talent level of the IDP.

The refs were horrible, flat out and yes, I noticed that the raining flags mysteriously disappeared after the lead was lost. Is this the same crew from the NO gm last yr?

all in all, we can easily lose vs AZ next week... we blew a 17-0 lead vs a banged CHI OL & Slow WRs.... still managed to lose that game? very worriedsome and frankly sick of it...

No short passing game again, most everything was long developing down the field passes... still no screens or an emphasis by the OC or QB to utilize the short yardage throws... 8 men in the box with a heavy pass rush, and nothing to counter it...

I'm with you on Kap bring crap but one of those INTs I put on Crab. He bobbled it allowing Fuller to take it away. It should have been caught like the last play. Bad game for those two.

I will say I'm looking good so far for Fuller being my favorite CB in thedraft.

Has Kap ever led a GW drive/comeback?

The closest off the top of my head would be vs AZ last yr when Patton made a great diving catch to secure the first down to get in FG range or was it just the first down? I cant remember...

but yea, Kap hasn't led a comeback at all or just failed in doing so....

You're really right with Fuller's first INT. He strip it from Crabtree however an angry fan could argue that Kap was off with the throw to Crabtree, instead of hitting him in the numbers he hit him off shoulder thus allowing a play to be made by Fuller.

Its disheartening but Kap to Crab for the win, 0-3...

No luv for Ward? but Baalke/Harbaugh had such praise! lol
