So Abraham has been cleared on his concussion and could possibly play against us.

Anthony Davis might return to practice on Wednesday.

No word yet on the MRI for Vernon's cankle.

Oh and it sounds like Carson Palmer might be out again this week with nerve damage in his shoulder.

I will be very upset if we don't blitz with a younger QB in there

I'll be at this game we better win.

Hopefully VD, Brock and AD are good to go.

Pretty big game here considering the standings and the division. Need to take this one.

VD was on crutches. I'd say he's 50:50 at best.

My bold prediction on another site a few weeks ago was the Cardinals win the division. It's early but stranger things have happened. I don't think they can do it without Palmer at QB but if they beat us and Den beats Sea, we'll both be two games behind.

Crabtree vs Peterson can't wait. Let's hope fitz doesn't go to the slot much.

Any smart coach will exploit that all game. If our coaches don't fix the problem right away then we have a huge problem

I think we'll lose 24 to 14 to drop to 1-2 on the season.

No one is going to mistake the Philly defense as lethal... but look what happens when they blitz....

you think we're honored enough to adopt the same strategy????

Interesting that the 49ers are currently favored by 2 1/2 to 3 points. I would have thought even or maybe -1 for AZ.

Home teams get +3 automatically too, so they really feel like the Niners are +6 better than the Cards? Ugh...

Early week reports :

Brock looks like he will miss Sunday.

VD injury not as serious as they thought.

Harbaugh is hopeful AD can practice this week.

Palmer still looking like he's out for now.

First practice for teams tomorrow.

I don't expect A Davis to play, I personally want him healthy close to 100%

but I know our OL is going to get **** real bad when the blitzes come.

It would be brutal for us if Davis and McDonald are out. The Cards' one clear weakness on D is covering the TE. At least Carrier looked good this past week.

Maiocco said on KNBR today that he expects AD to be out another week. There's talk of Boone shifting over to RT and having Looney at RG in order to have Marshmallow Martin out of the lineup.

Not sure what to expect with that curmudgeon Fangio, dude is as hard headed as someone with Alzheimer's.

They were talking about that at the GAME 95.7 earlier with Middlekauf and Haberman - there's not just enough production from Brooks and weak sauce Lemonade.

Derek Anderson isn't really that much younger and has good experience. He is a drop off from Palmer's play potential, but he played well last week. Is he faster at escaping our non-existent pass rush?
