Colin Kaepernick Consolidated

Why not have a one thread devoted to Colin? Rant/Praise whatever...

http://www.csnbayarea.com/49ers/kaps-inappropriate-language-not-only-controversial-call

I enjoyed the video in case no one has heard it already lol..... the guys went at it... a clear Kap hater to the fullest.

though he agrees with me on the notion of when has Kap drove the team to a winning drive.

Wasn't that the problem with the last site we went on? Mega threads all devoted to one player?

Wasn't the playoff Green Bay game last season a game winning drive?

The Atlanta NFC championship game too I believe was a game winning drive as well.

It was, if I remember correctly. But I think for some reason, since there was time left for Atlanta to get to the red zone, it's considered a defensive stop to win the game. The Green Bay game slipped my mind because honestly, I never thought we were at risk to lose. Funny to say that when playing Aaron Rodgers. I just didn't see it happening, so I never saw that as a game winner. Funny how minds work.

GB was the only one I could think of/pointed out to me honestly which was very true.

The ATL gm no, IIRC the niners scored early-mid 4th.... I couldn't count that as a gw drive

Yep, Webzone. Checked it out today and saw this:

Funny thing I accidentally ran into:

While trying to select page 529 of the Harbaugh thread, I accidentally entered "29" instead...

If you have 529 pages dating back to 2011, you are doing too much consolidation.

I just realized I made an Embarrassing mistake. Well, maybe not a mistake; more like maybe a stanank...

There was a player (who will remain nameless) to whom I refferd as the "Tin Man" all offseason because I said he needed a brain. Well, I've never actually seen The Wizard of Oz, and I didn't realize it was the Scarecrow who needed a brain.

So with apologies to the Tin Man, I will henceforth refer to that particular player as the Scarecrow (among other names).

Kap fined 10k for rockin beats by Dre headphones during the post game interviews...

I like Chris Long's response, directed at the NFL- tweeting and pointing out that a player was fined only $8500 for a chop block while Kap was fined 10k for wearing headphones... lol

Beats probably scratched him a check for 50k+ for rocking those headphones so Kap probably made out on the deal.

And furthermore they are getting even more free pub with everyone talking about the fine.

So if he didn't say anything racial why is he being fined? Guys cuss all the damn time during the game. And they have no proof.

George Atallah, the assistant executive director of external affairs for the players union, expressed disappointment that Kaepernick’s fine was not overturned completely.

“Our union is disappointed that the fine of (Kaepernick) was not eliminated given the finding there was no racial slur used,” Atallah wrote on Twitter.

It really makes no sense why he is even being fined right now. I guarantee players cuss multiple times every single game and there are no fines or flags for that. The NFL doesn't want to admit they are wrong.

Interesting podcast with Doug Farrar and Greg Cosell about a lot of topics, but at the 26 minute mark they discuss Kaepernick. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/dfarrar777 ... oug-farrar

Gary Althiser ‏@NFLGary 6m 6 minutes ago
Colin Kaepernick's had 7.1% of his passes dropped this season, 4th most in NFL. Alex Smith's had the most at 9.6%. #49ers #Niners #Chiefs

@NFLGary: Kap is the 6th most accurate passer in NFL with a 76.8% accuracy percentage. Alex Smith is No. 1 with 81.2% mark. #49ers #Niners #Chiefs

This takes drops into account, in addition to throwaways - Smith being here isn't a surprise given how short the passes are. But there sure have been a lot of stupid drops by SF (Boldin and Crabtree "what drops?") and KC (Hemmingway, Bowe, Avery) receivers. Some great ones by Lloyd, Boldin, and Johnson. Chiefs?
