Nothing too interesting going on yet. Indy up 3 over the Ravens is probably the best game on right now.

I know it's early into his career, but I'm starting to feel the B wanting to come out for Tavon Austin. I know the Rams are a mess though...

Bills' CB Ron Brooks was hurt really badly on a ST play. Taken off on stretcher.

This shouldn't be coming from a 49ers fan but this is a mind boggling stat:
They Detroit Lions are 1-for-9 on FGs longer than 30 yards this season.

The Jets had 7 passing yards with 10:27 left in the 2nd quarter today. I don't know what that looked like, but yikes!

Own 16 - 4 plays for 23 yards - Punt
Own 20 - 5 plays for 9 yards - Punt
Own 18 - 3 plays for 2 yards - Punt
Own 20 - 1 play for 0 yards - Fumble
Own 16 - 5 plays for 17 yards - Punt
18 plays for 51 yards - 4 punts and a fumble.
Then they gained a few more yards on their final drive of the half but Geno heaved up a deep bomb in the middle of the field with 9 seconds to go in the half and it was picked off. Yikes!

Rich Cimini:
Chargers outgained the Jets, 306-60. That's not a typo. #nyj

Bruce Arians called the chop block on Calais Campbell "the dirtiest play [he's] ever seen." Didn't he say the same thing two weeks ago about Wilhoite's hit on Stanton?

I tried finding it but all I could find was this:
Arians called 49ers LB Dan Skuta’s hit on QB Drew Stanton was “cheap shot....no doubt he was sliding. That could have ended his career.”

More from Arians via Jeff Legwold:
"They'll fine the guy, but what do we get? We don't get anything, We lose our guy for two to three weeks, maybe four.''

Gresham just dropped a would-be TD pass for the Bengals, but AJ Green got a holding call; so they'll get more chances.
Andy Dalton is quite spoiled (as is Kaepernick when everyone is healthy).

I don't get why a teammate can't recover a fumble and advance it inside 2 minutes.

I believe it used to be done on purpose, but that raises questions about any play that involves a lateral.

great thing about this board??
The lack of Seahawks fans. Just looking at the old site and the game thread makes me want to punch a fan in the face. a bunch of "NFL is rigging this" because of the penalties.

Sounds like a big baby. The block on Ian Williams last year was worse and cost him the whole year.
Thomas' block on Campbell wasn't even that bad.
