we cut osgood to sign ventrone. If our special teams is struggling how does it make sense? has osgood fallen off?

Could be a change to shake things up a little when things aren't working, or maybe he's not at 100%. The dude's 34 so he may have lost a step. We'll see if they pick him up again later. The better move might have been to keep Spillman who's the real ST's ace, but then he may be facing a sexual assault charge here instead of in Dallas which would have been another complete nightmare distraction. That choice would have been a lot more expensive too. But sometimes you get what you pay for.

Osgood has graded very poorly. I also don't recall the last time he got a tackle.

Apparently Osgood is expected to be back "imminently." They waited until yesterday to make the move so Osgood would still get paid for the week. It allows Bubba to get up to speed. Presumably someone will be going on IR soon (Moody since we're addressing ST?).

I feel like he has more penalties then tackles this year on special teams
