Nothing scarier than going up against a winless team with nothing to lose.

How ironic it's an alex smith led team. Those division games are tough.

And Alex Smith has YET to throw a TD to a WR ELEVEN GAMES INTO THE SEASON. Why am I not surprised?

Ehh, he's thrown 13 and has a good red zone offense this year - yes, runningbacks. The point of an offense is to score, not how. He didn't in the last drive, to anyone - that's more important than to who. If the passes are short, does it really matter that they weren't to WRs? It seems the issue would be stretching the field by distance, not by who. Defenses might move in because the passes aren't derp, but if teams didn't defend receivers, they'd get the ball to them. The issue would be only having to defend man to man to dissuade Smith - but the the issue is conservatism not to whom.

We got a lot of TDs to Vernon and that helped us seven at a time when people knew that was our go to guy. If it can't be stopped when you know, who cares? If it can be stopped, the fact that it's stopped is more important than who.

I would say the same thing if that were our quarterback. And I don't care about who versus whom.
