Would you trade for RGIII

Let's say around draft time RGIII is being dangled out there for a 3rd round pick. Now, with the 49ers coming off a SuperBowl (No thanks to Kaep, the LVP) this 3rd rounder is more like a 4th. Would you pull the trigger knowing Baalke is going to draft us upward of nine players anyways?

No way, we have other holes to fill with a third rounder and the idea he could be molded into a better quarterback than Kaepernick is absurd

I feel like we have to draft a QB we can groom anyways, plus I'm factoring in that Baalke drafts 9 players. This is one of the deepest CB drafts in the last five, maybe more. I think RGIII fits the Harbaugh system better than Kaep, also he'd be much cheaper.

I agree about drafting a qb, completely disagree about rgiii. I will post an article regarding the bucs game, he is completely light years behind kaep.

Nah. Would rather trade for Geno Smith, or grab Locker off FA.

Or Kirk Cousins. Would love to bring in one of these three in the off-season.

Nah. Too much money. I'd rather go after
Locker. He at least has some upside.
In all likelihood, drafting a QB seems like the most reasonable option. But if
Locker will sign for a contract for a couple of year for around what the Niners gave
Alex Smith, I'd be all for it.
Geno Smith? It's time to move on from him Clyde. The dude is useless. He's worse than
Gabbert.

Wait? Too much money for Cousins? He's slated to make 660K next year, and is a FA the year after that.
Geno Smith is a tremendous talent. You cannot judge him based on that offensive cesspool in New York. Only a select few of QBs would have even a glimmer of success under those conditions.

Oh I thought you meant sign him as a FA. Trade for him? Sure. Why not?

Goin' down with the ship huh? Ok. I respect your opinion, but I think
Geno is absolutely horrible. The dude is dumber than
Kaepernick on
Kapernick's dumbest day.

Do you think you can fairly judge ANY Jets QB right now? If you think our offense is an eye-gouge, watch New York's.

Locker--as much as I despise him--I wouldn't mind going after him either. The guy has been a one read QB for awhile, but it seems that what this offense is built around. Locker would offer us some touch passes and willingness to run over Kaep. There's no need for that 70mph pass that Kaep occasionally let's rip.
Kirk Cousins isn't ready for the spotlight. Every time the guy is close in the 2nd half he crumbles. It's too bad, because I like how he plays when it isn't up to him to win the game.

Yes I think I can.
Geno's just not an intelligent football player. We've seen it a million times. A guy who was a star in college 'cause he was a great athlete comes into the NFL and doesn't know how to play the QB position.
He just doesn't have the mettle to be a great QB. The dude ran around beating his chest on a preseason TD pass. He didn't know what time zone he was in when he went to the movies (or he was just so dumb he went the night before a game on purpose). He's not an accurate passer, and he makes even worse decisions than
Kaepernick does. The dude's basically
Joe Webb. He doesn't learn from his mistakes either.
I'd understand your point if he were just below-average in NY, but he's been maybe the worst QB in football.
