The season was over when...

Post#1 » by Hangman_52 » Mon Dec 8, 2014 1:00 am

they did not trade up to draft Evans.

they did not trade up Jordan Mathews

they passed on Martivus Bryant 5 times

They passed on Dante Moncrief 3 times

they decided they needed to go young so they let a bunch of veterans go and added 6 rookies

kept Roman as the offensivest offensive coordinator

felt Gore only needs single digit carries a game.

Vernon Davis decided to become a disappearing act during the off season and continued it all season long as well

They wasted past and current picks on players who won't see the field this season or ever when they could have been used to trade up for help for this season.

They decided to have Gabbert back up so Kaepernick has no pressure to play well from someone looking over his shoulder

The offensive game plan being a predictable pass on run plays and run on pass plays unless they determine to pass on every play.

Honestly.......if the FO and coach weren't getting along it was over before it even began. It's a testament to the players we stayed in the hunt as long as we did.

---Turmoil between HC and FO

---Tons of injuries (Bow, Willis, Davis, Brock, etc)

---VD and Boone's holdouts

---Gore's decline is happening in season right before our eyes

---Aldon's absence early in the season

---An offense that lost it's identity

I say blow it up and the sooner the better........

Aldon Smith being out was the biggest thing that hampered our defense.

The sad part, the defense had more gripe or excuses to have a fail yr but they played much more on par n sometimes won games for us.

The offense, our offense is (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

The season was over a long time ago, this is a 6-10 team at best, we should have lost to the Saints and Giants and probably the Redskins too

From what I've read that probably wasn't going to happen even with we were winning. Now I know it won't happen

At this point hopefully they lose out so the draft pick is better. If Harbaugh goes, the silver lining will at least be a new OC. There is no big play ability on the team. That goes for both players and coaches. You can't dink and dunk your way to a championship with todays rules in the NFL. You have to be able to put up points. We have only scored over 30 points one time this year (31) vs the rams. That is pathetic for a team with Superbowl aspirations.

The season was over when they decided that Kap could carry this team with a passing attack instead of relying on Gore....

The season was over when we lost against the Rams on the negative .02 inches yard line.

The season was over when we forced Eli to 5 interceptions and yet they still had a chance to beat us despite the five picks.

I hope we go after Adrian Peterson during the offseason. Draft DGB in the draft. And get a pocket passer to develop in the mid rounds.

Gotta say - I felt that this was gonna be a loooooong season after the Bears game. Especially a few weeks after when the Bears were proven to be complete frauds.

Kawakami mentioned he has heard the 49ers desire a return to their 2011 offense with a power run game. Adrian Peterson running all day works for me.

Kap to nyj for their first plus future 2nd....

I don't think either would do it, but I think I would. Harbaugh is going to leave anyway and Kaep isn't irreplaceable.
