ERIC MANGINI
I live in Cleveland - so I just spoke with a Browns fan here. He still believes that Mangini can be a good coach. I think he made a mistake of going right to ther Browns immediately after being fired by Jets....Although Mangini, like Harbaugh also has a prickly personality that rubs his players the wrong way. But what I do like about him, when he was here in Cleveland, the Browns were one of the least penalized teams in football. I still say Tomsula beats him out.

Re: ERIC MANGINI
Mangini is awful
It was an awful idea to add him totye staff when our offense was then respectable....
I knew he had change the system the wrong way, wasn't he our challenge guy too?
Awful awful drop if mangini becomes hc

Re: ERIC MANGINI
I'm a firm believer that people can grow and learn from mistakes and that they person they were before doesn't mean they will always stay that person.
So guys like Mangini and heck even Singletary look back and take a serious reflection of their first coaching outings and identify what they did wrong and know what they need to fix and how to fix it that could bounce back and have potentially have great success as head coaches. That doesn't mean it will happen because some people have talent and are built for it and some people don't.
WITH all that said I still wouldn't want Mangini as coach and I would need to see him go to college and be successful there or at the very least put in some successful coordinating years before giving him a shot as an NFL coach again. I mean being an offensive assistant especially to a broken offense doesn't suddenly make you Bill Belichick and be an all around coach.
