Either prisco or Cosell said the play was designed for a wide open Bruce Miller in the flat for and easy 6+ yard gain and Kaepernick either didn't see it or just chose to do something else. Also the completion to Hyde at the goal line he just held the ball way to long, which we could all see. Either Kaepernick is basically uncoachable after 2+ years of starting or Harbaugh is not getting through to him.

Looked to me like Crabs was held on that play. Kap waved him to go downfield and Crabs tried to take off, was going to break away but the defender grabbed and held him up. I think the pass was released before Kap could see that. If not for the hold, likely Crabs would have been where the pass was going and at least broken it up. Not a likely completion either as the safety was there but not likely and INT.
