On the Clock drafts 2015

Figured that the NFL draft page might get too bloated with fake drafts so I would have a thread just for them.

he is the first one I am going to post. I would love to see what people say about my picks so if you have any complaints or ideas of players I missed out on let me know.

I also am going to put the position I drafted them to play in bold instead of what they are listed at in the draft.
http://fanspeak.com/ontheclock/sharedraft.php?d=gxnpez

45 - R2P13 CB MARCUS PETERS WASHINGTON
46 - R2P14 CB JALEN COLLINS LSU
52 - R2P20 WR TY MONTGOMERY STANFORD
76 - R3P12 OLB DE TREY FLOWERS ARKANSAS
79 - R3P15 RB TEVIN COLEMAN INDIANA
108 - R4P12 DE DT LOUIS TRINCA-PASAT IOWA
130 - R5P2 FS CB ERIC ROWE UTAH
143 - R5P15 WR BRESHAD PERRIMAN CENTRAL FLORIDA
161 - R6P1 G OT AUSTIN SHEPHERD ALABAMA

Next year Jaguars' 4th, TItans' 5th and Bears' 5th

The one position I wish I drafted but could not find a good enough fit was a NT. I also assumed that the 49ers are going to not re-sign Crabtree, Culliver, Iupati, Skuta, Cox, Lloyd, Osgood, Ventrone, and Frank Gore. I also assumed that Justin Smith retires.

15: R1P15 QB JAMEIS WINSTON FLORIDA STATE
46: R2P14 WR SAMMIE COATES AUBURN
79: R3P15 DE HAUOLI KIKAHA WASHINGTON
125: R4P29 DT JORDAN PHILLIPS OKLAHOMA
143: R5P15 CB BYRON JONES CONNECTICUT
174: R6P14 S ADRIAN AMOS PENN STATE
219: R7P27 RB TREY WILLIAMS TEXAS A&M

1. Had a chance to draft Mariota in the 1st round at 15 and passed.
2. The Green Giant went only 2 spots ahead of Coates in the 2nd round.
3. Figured you can't have too many pass rushers.
4. Great project for the niner to work in at NT two years down the road.
5. Best CB in the draft in my opinion.
6. Move him back to corner and have him play press.
7. Shades of McCoy

UDFA: Jake Heaps QB, Corey Grant RB, Demeterious Nicholason CB, Greg Henderson CB, Kyle Carter TE

Neither of these drafts address our needs for a #1 WR.

This draft simulator is stupid. I hope that's not what you guys use to predict position of players.

It has PJ Williams going 2nd and Ifo Ekpre-Olomu going 13th. This thing is all kinds of **** up.

Yea its quite odd with its selections, Shane Ray went first lol....

My selection:

15: R1P15 WR AMARI COOPER ALABAMA
46: R2P14 DT DANNY SHELTON WASHINGTON
79: R3P15 WR SAMMIE COATES AUBURN
125: R4P29 DE DEION BARNES Penn State

Yea cant believe Cooper lasted til 15... LOL...

sh*t, I got Cooper(DGB avail too but got to go with #1) n my man NT and a 50/50 in Coates...

I wouldn't be crying for 2 WRs in the first 3 rds but he was there... BPA

My draft

15: R1P15 WR DEVANTE PARKER LOUISVILLE
46: R2P14 RB TODD GURLEY GEORGIA
79: R3P15 CB ALEX CARTER STANFORD
125: R4P29 G JARVIS HARRISON TEXAS A&M
143: R5P15 DE OWAMAGBE ODIGHIZUWA UCLA
174: R6P14 CB KEVIN WHITE TCU
219: R7P27 QB BO WALLACE OLE MISS

Gurley in the second would of course mean that as painful as it as as a fan it would be saying goodbye to Gore. Alex Carter in the third would be an absolute steal. Although Shane Ray going first would't be all that suprising if someone paid a kings ransom for him he has the potential to be the next JJ Watt he is an absolute stud.

Wait not that I like either qb but at 15 you had the choice of Mariota or Winston and you took Winston...... just wow Winston at his best will be Jamarcus Russell 2.0 at his worst he will make Ryan leaf look like a certified clean character and Hall of famer...

If I drafted Mariota what would you have said? You don't like either, so why does it matter?

Mariotta I don't like because at his best I see him as Cam or Kaep 2.0 but at least he doesn't have a history of being utterly stupid and making bad choices off the field. But Mariotta has the potential to become a succesful back up qb

Winston:
Stronger arm, better accuracy on NFL throws, runs a pro style O, poise, more size

Mariota:
Character, faster

I'm curious on what's the over/under on Winston's Wonderlic score and Mariota's hand size, they should both be a good laugh

I agree on the talent side of your assesment but I believe you can't fix stupid. We had enough with Aldon, Ahmad Brooks and Ray Mcdonald. And I honestly believe Winston will be the next Ryan Leaf or Jamarcus that will be out of the nfl in under 5 years. Just don't think he has the mental makeup to buckle down and change. Wonderlic scores I wouldn't be suprised if Mariotta scores well.

Just so you guys know, they really changed the draft slots of many players after the senior bowl. Many people that were steals are moved up and many people over rated or who did not declare were taken out and underclassmen who did declare were put in. It looks a lot better and is tougher to get steals late in the draft.

B1G Ten Heavy Draft

1. Passed on Mario again. With all the great RB prospects in this draft, why go with one in the first round? I have expectations for Melvin to be a 1,500 yard rusher, for multiple years in the NFL.

2. Big and fast specimen. Plus DGB didn't reach my pick again.

3. Longest round. Funchess comes in as a possible RZ threat. Was really just a BPA pick.

4. Amos converts to CB.

5. Smith did his thing in the Senior Bowl. The potential is there with his size and length.

6. My best CB in the draft.

7. A vertical threat that doesn't lack confidence. Remains me of DeSean Jackson. Could just be a return specialist
