OT: F*** Cancer!

Post#1 » by tallglassowater » Tue Feb 24, 2015 6:03 pm

Hey guys, hate to post this but I am just trying to help one of my best friends family. Long story short, my friend is spending her last days with her family at the very end of her battle with cancer. She is a great person, and was insanely positive throughout the entire process. The family is looking for donations to honor her last wish, which the link will explain. Obviously, it is not expected for anybody to donate, but I am passing this link along to the furthest reaches of my power to try and help. If you can't donate, please send a thought out. Knowing she was on borrowed time, she still spent it helping others and volunteering her time. She is an inspiration, and will be missed. This is not a pity thread, I save those for after this next season (ZING!!!) I can't bring her back to life so helping her achieve her last wish is the best thing I can do. Thanks guys.

Sorry to hear about your friend. We recently lost my Pop to cancer earlier this year. I'll try and donate next time I get paid.

Sorry to hear that man. She has been a champ through it all though. If you can donate, that is awesome. No worries if not. Thanks for the post.

I lost my dad to complications from cancer two years ago, I'll try to donate too. Sorry about what you're going through

Sorry to hear about your dad. It's a prick of a disease, and a cure can't come fast enough.

Have you seen this vice special report on killing cancer? Some of these new treatments seem really promising.

I did see that. Unfortunately she is too far gone at this point. It's kind of an any day now situation. First thing I did was text her sister when I saw that.
