Sick or Ray were the ones responsible to create this thread; immediately after the 2015 draft had concluded. Can't wait on them any longer.

Everett Golson - QB - Seminoles

Former Notre Dame QB Everett Golson is transferring to FSU, according to Bruce Feldman.

It was the expected decision. The entire conversation around Golson since last season has revolved around his number of turnovers in 2014, including 14 interceptions and 8 of 12 fumbles lost. The fact is Golson played very well to open the season, but poor decisions and turnovers, combine with bad luck, produced an underwhelming finish to the year. Yes, we could be called Golson apologists, but talent is there. He is now the most veteran quarterback on FSU's roster and has plenty of experience inside the pocket as well as creating outside of structure. Despite being behind in the playbook, we believe Golson wins FSU's quarterback competition. Keep in mind, FSU is replacing four starters along the offensive line.

The ILB is a position of dire need for us entering the 2015 season. So we might as well start paying close attention to the top prospects (ILBs) available next season.

Scooby Wright - LB - Wildcats

NFL Media ranks Arizona junior ILB Scooby Wright as the No. 4 defensive player in the country.

"Wright won so much hardware last year, he probably couldn't fit all the trophies into a selfie," wrote NFL.com's Chase Goodbread. "Between the Nagurski Award, the Bednarik Award and the Lombardi Award, all that's left to chase in 2015 for the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year is the Butkus Award." Scooby solved offensive mysteries on just about every snap last year: He posted 163 tackles, 29 for loss, 14 sacks and six forced fumbles. "That's about 12 tackles, two TFLs and a sack per game, on average," Goodbread noted. The 6-foot-1, 246-pounder has sensational instincts and football IQ.

In my opinion I think Boykin has the best chance this year to win the Heisman. With his recent transfer to FSU, Everett Goldon also has put himself in a great position as well to possibly win the Heisman (granted he's able to pick up and master the offense on time). Clemson's QB whose name escapes me is also a player I consider having a strong chance...

Ezekiel Elliott - RB - Buckeyes

Ohio State junior RB Ezekiel Elliott is the Heisman favorite at 6/1, according to Bovada.

LSU running back Leonard Fournette is 15/2, while TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin, Georgia running back Nick Chubb and Miss State quarterback Dak Prescott are each 8/1. After transferring to FSU, Everett Golson is now 14/1.

Kenyan Drake - RB - Crimson Tide

Alabama junior RB Kenyan Drake has "the potential to be an electric player who can score from anywhere on the field," according to NFL.com's Bryan Fischer

"With a lack of experience and depth at tailback, he'll play Robin to starter Derrick Henry's Batman, but Drake has the potential to be an electric player who can score from anywhere on the field," Fischer wrote. The Crimson Tide prospect broke his leg back in October, and should have a perfect opportunity to rebound and showcase his talents in 2015. The 6-foot, 201-pound Drake has the ideal size and speed for the next level, and was reported to have run a 4.4 forty back in March.

I like this kid a lot. However, I made an oath to myself to never again put my faith in an extremely athletic QB (dual threat) with a strong arm because they tend not to amount to anything in the NFL in terms of them ever "revolutionizing" the position (Vick, Kaep, Griffin, etc.). I like the pure pocket passers who happens to be mobile outside the pocket (Rodgers, Brees, Luck, Tannehill, Winston, etc.). With all that being said, I would draft this kid in the 4th or even the 3rd round if he still happens to be there when we pick:

Trevone Boykin - QB - Horned Frogs

TCU redshirt senior QB Trevone Boykin was compared by NFL Media to Russell Wilson.

"As is typical for a college quarterback with his athleticism, Boykin doesn't hesitate to tuck the ball and do his damage on the ground when given the chance," wrote College Football 24/7 writer Chase Goodbread. "Wilson, of course, scrambles more to throw. But if Boykin reaches the pros, he'll take on more of a sense of self-preservation in time." The 6-foot-2 Boykin is a bit bigger than the 5-foot-11 Wilson, though TCU has perhaps tacked an inch onto Boykin's measurements. The TCU prospect threw for 3,714 yards and 30 touchdowns and rushed for 642 yards and eight scores in 2014.

Is it really? As long as Bowman is healthy, I can't see ILB being considered a "dire" need. The Niners were fortunate to have easily the best ILB pair in the league for the past couple years, and arguably the two best ILBs in the league period on the same D. But most 3-4 Ds don't have that. They're lucky to have one athletic, do-everything ILB and one run-plugger who comes off the field on passing downs. I think there's a fair chance the team will extend Wilhoite, but even if they don't, ILB doesn't become a dire situation unless and until Bowman shows he can't play at or close to his pre-injury level.

Deshaun Watson - QB - Tigers

NFL Media ranks Clemson sophomore QB Deshaun Watson as the No. 9 offensive player in the entire country.

"Watson was heralded as a budding star after breaking school freshman records in his first career start with 435 yards and six touchdown passes, a 50-35 win over North Carolina," wrote College Football 24/7 writer Chase Goodbread. Unfortunately, injuries, including a torn ACL, wrecked his freshman campaign. All in all, Watson completed 93 of 137 passes (68 percent) for 1,466 yards, 14 touchdowns and just two interceptions. Don't be surprised if he contends for the Heisman this year.

Cody Kessler - QB - Trojans

NFL Media ranks USC redshirt senior QB Cody Kessler as the No. 11 offensive player in the country.

"The fifth-year veteran not only chose to stay in college instead of jumping to the NFL draft, but tried to convince the Trojans' top underclassmen to do the same," wrote College Football 24/7 writer Chase Goodbread. "Look for Kessler to challenge for the Heisman, as long as the USC defense is improved enough to keep the team in Pac-12 contention." The 6-foot-1, 215-pound Kessler threw for 3,826 yards with a 39/5 TD/INT ratio last year. He wasn't picked off more than once in any game.

Dalvin Cook - RB - Seminoles

FSU sophomore RB Dalvin Cook's "footwork through the hole and balance are pure magic," notes NFL Media.

As a true freshman last year, Cook converted 170 carries into 1,008 yards (5.9-yard average). Now a full-time starter, he's going to obliterate those numbers this year. For a preview of what he can do, check out the Louisville and Miami tapes. NFL Media ranks Cook as the No. 12 offensive player in the entire country.

Tyler Boyd - WR - Panthers

Pittsburgh junior WR Tyler Boyd is the No. 1 receiver in the country, according to Walter Football.

Most rank Laquan Treadwell No. 1 at the moment. "Boyd has enough speed to get separation with a burst to rip off yards after the catch," reads his scouting report. "He runs good routes, is very physical, has reliable hands, tracks the bell extremely well, makes acrobatic catches and out-fights defensive backs for 50-50 balls." In his true freshman season in 2013, Boyd hauled in 85 passes for 1,174 yards and seven touchdowns. Last year, he hauled in 78 receptions for 1,261 yards and eight scores. Walter Football calls him a surefire first-rounder.

Connor Cook - QB - Spartans

NFL Media compares Michigan State senior QB Connor Cook to Matt Ryan.

"Both of these quarterbacks see the entire field with a 6-4, 220-pound frame and can throw with velocity or touch as needed," wrote College Football 24/7 writer Chase Goodbread. "Both have enough athleticism to move out of the pocket and buy another couple of seconds to throw, but neither is a rushing threat across the line of scrimmage." Cook has thrown for 6,063 yards, 47 touchdowns and 15 interceptions across his career while going 23-3 in starts at Michigan State.

Shawn Oakman - DL - Bears

NFL Media compares Baylor redshirt senior edge rusher Shawn Oakman to Calais Campbell of the Arizona Cardinals.

"Oakman is quickly putting himself in a class by himself from an athleticism standpoint," wrote College Football 24/7 writer Chase Goodbread. "But there's really no NFL defensive lineman other than Campbell (6-8, 300) who resembles the 6-9, 280-pound Baylor star in terms of physical stature." Campbell was merely a second-round pick -- in hindsight, of course, a steal -- while Oakman is a surefire first-rounder who will go in the top 10 if he has a huge season. Oakman has players like Campbell to thank for his stock being higher than his production would dictate to this point.

Deshaun Watson - QB - Tigers

NFL Media ranks Clemson sophomore QB Deshaun Watson as their No. 1 breakout players on verge of stardom.

"But his stellar play in other action -- from his school-freshman-record six touchdown passes against North Carolina to his gritty effort against ACC champ Florida State -- has Clemson fans hopeful that he will emergence as the best quarterback in the ACC this year," wrote College Football 24/7 writer Chase Goodbread. Watson ran into a wall of bad luck in 2014, breaking his hand, spraining his knee, and tearing his ACL. However, the Clemson prospect flashed potential, completing 68 percent of his passes for 1,466 yards with 14 touchdowns and two interceptions, while setting a single-season Tigers record with a 188.6 passer rating.

Ronnie Stanley - T - Fighting Irish

Yahoo's Eric Edholm ranks Notre Dame redshirt junior T Ronnie Stanley as the class' No. 4 player.

"Some scouting directors believe Stanley had a chance to be one of the top two tackles drafted this year had he come out early," he wrote. "But he'll return to an experienced Irish team with a chance to lock down a top-five selection for 2016." Rotoworld's Josh Norris recently mocked Stanley No. 3 to the Raiders in a 2016 draft exercise. We would have ranked Stanley as the No. 1 tackle in the 2015 draft had he entered early.

Jared Goff - QB - Golden Bears

Yahoo's Eric Edholm ranks Cal junior QB Jared Goff as the No. 2 draft prospect.

Joey Bosa, of course, was No. 1. "Yes, over quarterbacks such as Christian Hackenberg, Cardale Jones and Connor Cook," Edholm wrote of Goff. "Goff has a chance to go supersonic this season playing in Sonny Dykes' 'Air Raid' offense and is often compared to, style-wise, former Bears QB Aaron Rodgers." The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Goff threw for 3,973 yards last year in 12 games. Throwing for 5,000 isn't out of the question in 2015.

Gunner Kiel - QB - Bearcats

Yahoo's Eric Edholm ranks Cincinnati redshirt junior QB Gunner Kiel as the No. 24 prospect.

"The career arc of the 'Gunman' hasn't gone according to script, but he showed last season — while playing hurt with a rib injury, we might add — that he still has the strong arm, quick release and quality athleticism that made him one of the most coveted high school recruits in the country," Edholm wrote. "Another strong season could vault him into the early-entry and first-round pools." The analyst is higher on Kiel than most. For instance, Walter Football graded Kiel as a Rds. 3-5 prospect. Kiel threw for 31 touchdowns against 13 interceptions last year.

Seth Russell - QB - Bears

ESPN's Travis Haney advised bettors to take a long look at Baylor redshirt junior QB Seth Russell's 33-1 Heisman odds.

"[Art] Briles and his staff already think there are things Russell can do that [Bryce] Petty could not," he wrote. "If Russell puts up the same eye-popping numbers Petty did and Baylor is in the Big 12 and national conversations, Russell could certainly make a run at New York." For one thing, Russell is more athletic. He has run a 4.49 second 40-yard dash (he also has a vertical jump of 41.6 and a broad jump of 10-feet, 4-inches). Some also believe the 6-foot-3, 215-pound Russell is a better pure passer. We haven't seen enough of him to be confident in that assessment yet, but remember that Russell did win Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors for dropping 438 yards and five touchdowns on Northwestern State in September when Petty was hurt.

Royce Freeman - RB - Ducks

Oregon sophomore RB Royce Freeman is one of the nation's most NFL-ready players who is not yet draft eligible, believes Bleacher Report's Greg Wallace.

"He has a special blend of power and speed and will be an enticing target for pro teams looking for a workhorse tailback," Wallace wrote. The 6-foot, 229-pounder, who draws consistent comparisons to Jonathan Stewart, had 1,365 yards and 18 touchdowns as a true freshman. Freeman will be a starting NFL running back in 2017 unless his body betrays him.
