RealGM San Francisco 49ers Posters,

Almost a year ago, our San Francisco 49ers Forum suddenly received an influx of Users from a Forum that mistreated their 49ers fan base.

Throughout this time, it has been a real thrill to have those of you who migrated as refugees here on RealGM join our few dedicated 49ers posters and give us a strong San Francisco 49ers Community.

One thing that really bothered me as an Administrator was how wrong that other site did Ray_Dogg who not only was the Moderator at that other site but a leader for this community.

The thing is when they took away his Moderator title, he never stopped being a leader and led everyone to this forum.

I am grateful for this and am proud that RealGM is the new home for this great group of posters.

While Ray declined to be a Moderator candidate, I felt Ray_Dogg deserved a more proper sendoff as a Moderator then he was given last year.

Yesterday, I made a proposal to Ray and am happy to say that he has agreed to become a Moderator for one day starting today. After that day on Saturday afternoon, he will retire and receive the "Retired Moderator" he deserves for his service to this wonderful group of Users.

I would like everyone to join me in giving Ray_Dogg a proper Moderator retirement and to thank him for everything he has done for this community as a Moderator.

I am really happy to have you on board Ray even for one day and thank you so much for everything. We probably would not all be here without you.

In all seriousness......I can't believe so many have stuck together from ESPN to Poopla to here with a couple of other brief stops along the way. Ray certainly is one big reason for that.

Agreed. Glad we've been able to continue our community and Ray has spearheaded that. I don't post as much as I used to (huge understatement, I know) thanks to growing obligations in life but I've "known" some most of this core for over 10 years! That's crazy when you stop to think about it!!

While you're a mod, Ray, might as be useful and start a Monsters Season 5 sticky!

Thanks Ray. Also wanted to give a shoutout for the others instrumental in getting everyone over here. Won't name names in case poopla is still stalking you guys, but you know who you are.

Thanks Ray, having been through the ESPN board, the unnamed board, and now this, I really appreciate and am stunned by the fact that so many of us have stuck together through two board migrations, and Ray was a huge part of that.
