Figured there should be a thread for this but also my own selfish motives.

Chris, was thinking about how cool it is to root for players like Okoye and Jarryd as cross sport, international players. Do other teams have project players like us at all?

Former Redskins punter Sav Rocca (released in March) was an Australian football player/kicker.

I'm having a hard time coming up with anybody else right now similar to what the 49ers have going on with Okoye and Hayne.

Jeff Demps ran in the 2012 Olympics, for the USA though, and tried continuing with his career after that. The Colts released him in May. Bills WR Marquise Goodwin just won a silver medal at the Pan Am games in the long jump (again as an American).

So it seems we are branching out and trying different avenues in player personnel as a franchise. I like the moves.
