Crabtree takes a shot at Kap

Post#1 » by 49er4life1979 » Sun Sep 13, 2015 2:41 am

Crabtree just took a shot at Kap saying "The Niners offered me a contract, more money than anyone. But I needed a QB who can deliver the ball."....WOW. Says a not even top 25 WR in the NFL? Says a WR who cant get open and get yards after the catch? Says a WR who in six seasons only had ONE good season? Says a player who has been one of the most overrated WRs in the NFL the last six years? I am not saying Kap is the second coming of Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady, but come on! Crabtree is not that good at all and has zero room to talk.

He also said, he wanted someone who was just as hungry to win.(paraphrasing)

Regardless of whether or not Crab's comments are true, it doesn't really reflect well on him. I'm glad he's gone.....

The hungry to win comment is the part that makes Crabtree look stupid.

Say what you will about Kap and his abilities on the field you can't deny he's one of the hardest working guys in the league so I don't see how anyone could come to the conclusion he isn't hungry to win or be great. Especially coming from a guy that's always out most of training camp.

And Boldin doesn't seem to have a problem with Kap delivering the ball since his numbers have gone up since becoming a 9er.

Tim Kawakami:

Michael Crabtree: "It ain’t the end of the world, it’s one game. Everybody’s sad, but it’s one game. We’re good."

Crabtree: "We can’t cry right now. We’ve got 15 other games... We lost bad. We’re going to go back to the lab & do what we’ve got to do."

Says a WR who we lost the SB, in part*, because the QB focused on paying him back for a missed play earlier in the game (Kaepernick missed him open once, causing Kaepernick to tell him he was going to make it up to him and went to him three times in the last series for nothing but a missed hold call and three yards.)

* = In part, it was the refereeing and playcalling and calling the timeout.
