I don't get the hype on Bridgewater

Post#1 » by NinerSickness » Sun Sep 13, 2015 4:00 am

People get too excited about young QBs thinking they're like a stock that will continually get higher and higher. People did the same thing with Kaepernick after 2012; there was even a debate over whom people would rather have between Kaepernick and Andrew freeking Luck.

Kaepernick is an average to below-average QB, and I'd honestly rather have him than Bridgewater.

Because in the NFL media everyone would rather say a guy is going to be good and be wrong about that than say a guy is going to suck and be wrong that way.

Look at the flak Jim Brown took when he said Trent Richardson wasn't anything special and fast forward to today and his comments are looking like he was being nice.

They'll only start to dog pile on a guy when he actually does start to suck and even than they'll sometimes try to shift the blame somewhere else. Just like RGIII where it's everyone else's fault except RGIII's.
