Anyone work at Lucas/ILM?

I'm looking to get a crew together to create a burning bush illusion that we shall set up in P-Willie's backyard to instruct him the true path is coming back to the Niners.

@diannaESPN: 49ers defense on the field for 70% of the time.
Their offense has to try Gabbert. (omg)
Confidence is shot. Receivers look irritated

Pathetic when a team's offensive MVP is the kicker. Even more pathetic when the kicker has one, 33-yard field goal. #49ers.

Good day by the defense... offense I don't thinks there is a more inept coaching staff in the nfl or college... We could have gone for Dan Quinn but thankfully we have Tomsula... could you imagine the pain of replacing Harbaugh with another competent coaching staff?

yes I_am_1z Harbaugh would have had a better result. I don't think he's let the O-line problem go on for 4 weeks. Kaep's regression has actually confirmed his QB whisperer status in my mind. It's now clear that Harbaugh squeezed a cubic zirconia out of poop.

I don't think health had much to do with our players retiring. They don't want to play for this staff.

As much as we want to dump on this team, I don't believe that at all. Those players were pretty beat up except for Borland and possibly A. Davis

While I do think they were beat up and were considering retirement, I don't doubt that the complete overhaul in the coaching staff made their decision that much easier.

Gotta give the D credit. They played considering the offense couldn't stay on the field and produce anything. Kap looked bad and the oline played poorly again. I think Kap is hearing footsteps in his head and has lost confidence. I dislike Vance McDonald the most this game. Drops a pass for a probable first down, makes a costly penalty, and fumbles the ball which we were lucky to get back. Maybe sit Kap and let Gabbert play. The defense played much better. None of those huge holes today and coverage was there to make Rodgers have to hold on the ball longer.

You don't turn away millions of dollars no matter how much you don't like the coaches.

You do what everyone who doesn't like their boss does and just phone it in as much as possible without getting fired.

Maybe. But Justin Smith was playing on one arm and was spending more time in the Trainer's room than the practice field. Willis shut it down midseason last year to have surgery on his toe which wasn't healing. He hasn't been the same the past couple of years. Obvious Borland was done with the NFL.

It's not Kaepernick. He's lost confidence, yes, but he's not that different a passer than he was when he was successful. It's the O-line. He was forced to hurry or get sacked or hit on the majority of plays today. When you're not bothering to run the ball, the pass protection has to be better than that. It was horrible. Pass protection halfway decent, we might have won this game.

Don't get me wrong -- they're still mediocre. But the offensive line is the key to what Harbaugh tried to do, and what good teams always do, and it seems to be an afterthought here.

I tip my cap to Mangenius for making the changes needed. OLBs rushing. DBs playing man.
Rodgers had 1 TD pass. There wasn't a 100 yard rusher or receiver. Only 17 points given up while being on the field for 70% of the game.
